Agreed with the possible exception that NO is holding out for a first rounder or Capela, or something like that. He may be playing chicken with NY and Houston right now because he has nothing to lose by waiting.

Yep Im with you, no way melo get's traded to Houston they don't have the pieces anymore, Morey never should have agreed to a sign and trade for cp3 (could have just signed him outright) but hindsight is 20-20.

The NBA is blocking this trade by instituting this salary cap rule. It makes no logic to have a salary cap as it just hurts teams like Houston.

NBA hates Har_en and constantly lets other teams just hack away at him. He was robbed of the MVP twice, and cheated in the playoffs this year.
NBA is afraid that Harden+CP3+Melo will dethrone the media darling Warriors.

yeah most likely but it would be easier to say move Ryan Andersons contract if you have a 1st and sam Decker to sweeten the deal is my point. They didnt HAVE to do a sign and trade.
 
I love a few of you die hards keeping this thread alive by still actually talking trade options/scenarios. Looks like most people have tapped out of this thread but a few of you... kudos to the discipline to keep it going and on track!!!
