So true:
But they also had Nurk and Davis hurt when they played Portland. The Warriors have yet to play a really tough series in the last few years other than the Finals they lost. And for their second title*, Kawhi and Parker were hurt.
Is there something discouraging by this report? I don't see it.Told ya we shouldnt get our hopes up...
Carmelo Anthony, a 10-time NBA All-Star, has delivered the New York Knicksan expanded list of teams -- including the Cleveland Cavaliers -- with which he'd be willing to waive his no-trade clause, league sources told ESPN.
After the Knicks insisted that they were unable to make a deal with the Houston Rockets, his primary trade destination, Anthony and his representatives honored New York's request and furnished at least two more teams within the past 10 days, league sources told ESPN.
Story linked says at least 2, one of which is them.Am I crazy for reading that as "he expanded his list - which includes the Cavs."
He wrote it very.... strangely.
Because NY is trying to get the best deal possible for themselves, and so while they might like any offer we have to them, it's in their best interest to try to drum interest up from Cleveland to see if there is a better deal to be made. Maybe we see leak the other day about him coming here to not force Houston's hand, but the hand of Cleveland(and whoever else may be on that list). The real question is, if he expanded his list 10 days ago and Portland is on the list... why is he not in Portland already?

I didn't want to get my hopes up. It seems like Portland might get cucked.
According to a source, the Knicks also reached out recently to a third team they think Anthony would waive his no-trade clause to join. That team, according to a source, is not the Blazers, whose backcourt stars - Damian Lillian and CJ McCollum - have openly recruited Anthony this offseason
