Before we get too bent thinking the Blazers are a better team (they might be better Post trade than the others Post trade) every other team on the list has perennial all stars and at least one MVP caliber player ( Harden, James, Westbrook). Right now Portland doesn't even have 1 All Star.

Depends on how much credibility you give the NBA large market popularity contest. We have 2 all stars IMO.

I'm just trying to figure out if we are on any list. One second we are, one second we aren't. I feel like they are gonna rush a trade though and get melo to cavs done quick despite if they get shit

The guy wants us to believe the Knicks aren't interested in Harkless but they definitely are interested in 18m Kanter (who's not an upgrade over their rookie scale Hernangomes.) Yeah ok. I like Aldridge but as far as reporting goes, not so much.
 
Both Dame and Burk are in NYC now I believe. Wonder if they're doing some recruiting

Even worse, they think Blazers package is great deal when is coming to Knicks via 3 way trade and Melo goes elsewhere, but if it’s a direct deal with Portland it’s all of a sudden not good enough value for Melo... no respect for Portland by national media

I wonder if NY is trying to squeeze a first rounder out of the Blazers, and that's part of the slow down. No way we include any of our big 3. But how much do we give up beyond that for a potential one year rental? The only way I give up a first rounder is if we can also include Meyers and we pick up someone else of value from them, like Lee.
