I'm not really going to get involved in this, I have disagreed with you in the past as well, and I don't really want to create more of a headache for the mods, but Im curious what your end goal is here. Who are you trying to reach on the forums if you aren't interested in "making friends" or caring about if you get put on ignore? If everyone ignores you then what? You think people are trying to bait you but really it could be seen the other way. Regardless, people know your stance with the Blazers. A lot of people are disappointed with Olshey and the Blazers, myself included, but I don't need to beat a dead horse constantly by saying the same things over and over again. There can be other discussions to take part in as well. :)

There is an instigation and then a reaction. The two are not the same.

Look, once the season starts, I will support whatever team we have... but while it’s still the offseason, I will keep pointing out Neil has done nothing after a failure of a season until the here is change.

Honestly, as far as I'm concerned, they are. And I said "a" source. Think of the argument as the Columbia River. Whether you're the Snake, the Willamette, the Sandy, or been part of it from the Canadian Rockies, every tributary is contributing and is "a" source of the content.
 
I think it's time we create a thread titled, "Timeout," sticky it with the other important posts, and put certain rule breaking/bending individuals there for timeout.

Then let those individuals have it out with each other in the thread, while the rest of us can continue our conversations about our team and the rest of the NBA.

My last post for the day and I hope it isn’t edited because it will be all truth.

If one person goes on a forum and says it’s his right to post his same opinion every day then he better damn well share that right for others to voice their opinion about his posts every day.

How the fuck can anyone here not see that???

Whiny ass bitching about something someone can’t control. But when others tell that person to chill and control them selves the person plays the “have rights” card.

Well we all have rights.

And right now I’m telling everyone who defends said instigator but then gets annoyed by the reactions, is being hypocritical.

Okay so the reactionary posts are annoying to some, but don’t recognize when the majority of the forum tells one poster their continual posts are annoying?

How the fuck does anyone reacting even get a finger pointed at them without said finger pointer being a complete hypocrite?

There is a source for this bs and until he stops his one man army agenda to piss off the whole forum by regurgitating his opinion over and over, then nobody should be deleting any posts that is a reaction to this same regurgitation.

Free speech is free speech. If dude is allowed to come on here and puke all over, then others should be able to come in here and puke after him.


In the end the arguing will not stop until said instigator stops. In life that is how it works.

There isn’t another forum to go to. There isn’t Another island to start life over, so we are stuck here.
Even bnm notes how the ignore feature doesn’t work with this guy because half the threads are him posting and people responding, so you are confused as hell.

In my life ignoring problems has largely never been a solvent. It has usually made said problem get bigger. Not go away.

Sometimes in life you have to deal with shit. Not just ignore it.


So this post is about taking out the trash....

Yes, his right to post, your right to respond. No argument there.

Only thing I want to avoid is people making it personal. Discuss content. Discuss style. Discuss tone. Just don't discuss character ("hypocrite", "whiny bitch", "pathetic", "no life", etc...)

And I'm just going to say that I rarely see unpleasantness effectively countered by a greater degree of unpleasantness.

dude.....I'm not trying to annoy you.....I included myself in the post...there's just a better way to post and that's a blanket statement for everyone...it's about leading by example....which I'm no expert at, I've failed at that but I'm trying to talk with you not at you....I don't care to debate it...I can read all his posts when I'm not logged on....for me...it's not really worth the sparring ….I've done the same with maris who triggers me more than any poster here....just click ignore and to me...that's the path toward enjoying the forum...to each his own. You're one of my favorite posters....just offering constructive old fart advice here...I'm sure as hell not important..I have mentioned before that the insult rule often doesn't get capped around here as much as before...people used to get one day bans for it...2nd time they'd get the ban hammer...that seemed to work...now it seems like it's never used. I come here to laugh, enjoy and voice opinions but have really lost interest in the multi page shouting matches that seem to be a regular thing now...nothing personal at all...I hope you don't take it personally either. I'm not a mod for a reason. I'd ban several people if I were.
