Should the Blazers puruse Carmelo Anthony?

Dude's been terrible for years.

We don't need to wait ANY games to know he's a bad player.

Absolutely. He's been no good, but he's been decent MUCH more recently than Anthony has been and he's got a chance to bounce back. Anthony does not.

Blazers gave Anthony a chance to bounce back so there for he does. Given the non-guarantee contract it's a small risk, high reward situation.
 
I keep watching Carmelo videos, and not understanding what he's saying. It's not from Shaq-like slurring. It's his use of big phrases to say nothing.

Question: Were you surprised to start in your first game?

He says that he came here because everything was "established from the gate." Which doesn't answer the question.

He says, "Don't surprise me." Which implies that he doesn't required starting, as long as the GM tells him that he may not start, before signing him. If left unstated, he requires starting.

I have to guess at what he means in every video because of his fancy phraseology, defensively dancing around each question without touching it. Is this the famous Melo defense?

Just saying, Ant and Was aren't very well spoken yet......neither are alot of professional athletes.

It’s a high-reward situation for Anthony that’s for sure. He’s a volume scorer whom nobody expects to do anything else.
I didn’t see the reward for the Trail Blazers in the last game, which was a winnable matchup.
When is the reward to be expected?

Wow, tough crowd. First game in over a year, not one practice with the team, Dame is out and that's it he can't possibly do anything?

Those numbers are heavily offset by his 0/8 three point showing in the third game. He mad 5 of his first 8.

That alignment was important but aligning your zipper with you belt buckle was more important. Funny how I remember that after 52 years.
They also made me hang my shirts opposite from the way I was used to hanging them.
And don't talk to me about the foot locker.
I can still make a regulation bunk with a 45 degree angle.

It's all a case of mind over matter. i don't mind and you don't matter.
I've even disobeyed an order without consequence. It was a stupid order and in my opinion not a lawful order.
Not new here. Was offered a mod job when this forum first opened up but declined due to all my time devoted to some serious medical difficulties due to combat. Yeah, I endured combat, I can endure anything.
