Melo needs to start and Lebron should come off the bench!

Meaningless stat line since his team got murdered while he was out there.Because you always look at things realistically and balanced, you are going to bring up Melo’s stat line from that game right? It’s only one game, so people shouldn’t get TOO hyped on how Melo played though.
Ahhhh, ok. So as long as I know the guidelines. OFFENSE doesn’t mean anything if you can’t play DEFENSE as well. Gotcha. Tell the Hall of Fame that son.Meaningless stat line since his team got murdered while he was out there.
Did I say anything about defense? Just saying then team was a negative while he was out there. As for the Hall of Fame, Melo will be in there but not because of the player he is now. The player he is now can't even win 6th Man of the Year.Ahhhh, ok. So as long as I know the guidelines. OFFENSE doesn’t mean anything if you can’t play DEFENSE as well. Gotcha. That’s A LOT of reading! This thread is like a blurry picture to me at this point.
$10 to whoever goes back and reads everything and counts how many fights and how many different topics of discussion happened in this epilogue.
Hold on, so you are saying that the Hall of Fame looks at a players COMPLETE WHOLE career and not just their last season or so? Really?Did I say anything about defense? I just posted that because Jinx felt he needed to inform me that Melo will not make the Hall based on his 2 years with Portland. Outstanding take by him don’t you think. The Blazers only got "his last season or so." The Lakers don't even get that. None of us have been talking about his whole career--we've been saying he was terrible with the Blazers and he remains a terrible player.
Lots of Hall of Famers are terrible at the ends of their careers. Melo's just playing out the string.

I’m so confused. Did he at some point think I think that Melo is currently paying at a hall of fame level? Why am I asking YOU this. Sorry.I think you're misinterpreting him. He's not saying "The last two years aren't Melo's Hall of Fame case." He's saying that while Melo may be a Hall of Famer, it's for the level of player he was years ago--him being a "Hall of Famer" means nothing in relation to rostering him in the present. It's like saying that it would be awesome to sign Michael Jordan as a core rotation player, because he's a Hall of Famer. Responding "Yeah, but not for his play the last two decades" would be a reasonable response.

Be careful, they will all tell you how bad he is on defense and his offense doesn't matter, Nance will replace it.Melo was not terrible for the Blazers. I wish he was still on the team! Give me a list of players on this miserable squad better!

Instead, they'll be a negative 10 in 6 minutes then get subbed out before that gets to negative 45.Ya….and Kanter can’t rebound. Imagine Melo and Kanter rather than Blevins and Patterson! With Melo and Kanter they would refuse to see the team get beat by 45!
You have got to admit having Kanter and Melo on this team right now instead of whomever they want to have as the 14th and 15th roster spot would be a huge benefit.Instead, they'll be a negative 10 in 6 minutes then get subbed out before that gets to negative 45.
They wouldn’t be. They would be well above Elleby McLemore Chriss and Snell.Kanter wouldn't want to be 14, let alone Melo.

The point was the last two spots.
Yep the +/- is what it’s all about, not the score of the game.Instead, they'll be a negative 10 in 6 minutes then get subbed out before that gets to negative 45.
What 13 players on THIS roster do you see getting playing time over Kanter and Melo? Billups wouldn’t play 13 players ahead of those 2, I’m DAMN sure.Kanter wouldn't want to be 14, let alone Melo.
So you are happy with his replacements. My lord. And my point is, I don't want Melo back here, unless he is 14th in rotation spot.
