Should the Blazers puruse Carmelo Anthony?

This Lakers roster reminds me of the Karl Malone Lakers. Only the Mailman and the Glove were still light years better than Melo, and Kobe/Shaq were younger and healthier than LeBron/AD.

Westbrook, however, is younger and better now than Payton was in 04, so he'll clearly make the difference.

I'll never forget when Payton was a Laker he was jawing at a ref going down court and when he turned his head to complain to the ref the pass from Malone hit him right in the back of his head...turnover Laker.

I'm not a big fan of George Karl. Things like this probably should be left alone. That being said.
Sometimes the truth hurts.
My problem comes with him continuing to say this stuff way after the fact. Like he needs attention?

Yeah, I think Karl is right from a basketball perspective, but it's extremely tacky to be saying these things on social media. It makes him seem incredibly petty and obnoxious.

Yep. Being right and being an asshole aren't mutually exclusive.

Wow, I just checked the box score. Westbrook 3 of 12 shooting and 9 turnovers! Lakers looking like a first round exit this season. IF they make the playoffs. Seriously. The roster construction is god awful. It's like the Steve Nash/Dwight Howard "This is gonna be fun" year but way way way worse.
 
17 points on 50% shooting with (5) 3-pointers

and unfortunately Carmelo is not wearing the Scarlet and Black

Because you always look at things realistically and balanced, you are going to bring up Melo’s stat line from that game right? It’s only one game, so people shouldn’t get TOO hyped on how Melo played though.

I'm guessing you're not referring to the fact that the Lakers were outscored by 16 in the 16 minutes he was on the floor?

No, he just went out of his way to point out a negative and as an unbiased fan of the game I’m sure he just forgot to mention something positive is all. He wouldn’t have done that on purpose simply because he hates the player or team would he?

Melo did what Melo does! Now defense? hahahahahahaha....that's not negative bias...it's negative +/-....he's shooting for that alltime scoring list again...top 10 was just a starter ...he wants top 5
