I'm saying this again:

Look at Moe's 3 point numbers after Nurk.

And I don't really think people are understanding that having a slasher like Moe keeps the defense honest and helps get our 3 point shooters open. He's arguably the best on the team at moving without the ball. This illustrates my point nicely. 4 of Nurk's assists are to Moe on LOVELY cuts to the basket:

Well said. Also a lot of good Moe highlights here:

Look guys, here's the thing:

We would have traded Meyers for a bag of chips and a dollop of sweet and sour sauce

Now we mad that we get a living, breathing human being?

Thought we needed that perspective.

I think Boston wants to get some value for Crowder. Not just cap space.
Oops, forgot that, Houston would have to add, as getting out of Anderson's deal for Carmelo way too good. Future first to Boston, 2020.

But based on NO motto, there's no way we get Anderson and Crowder because he's such a low risk kind of GM. DMorey could pull that off tho.

Throw in vonleh and maybe they bite
Boston NEEDS to shed salary in order to give Hayward the deal they just offered him. Obviously, it can come in any form of salary dump there is, but getting a 1st round pick out of it is much better than sending him to Utah for free just to make the trade go through.

If I'm not mistaken, getting vonleh still sheds enough salary to sign Hayward

But, thinking about it more, getting Anderson and Crowder for any combo of players other than the big 3, moves my needle....how do we get it done???

Patty considering going back to baseball if he's waived:

He needs to just do it while he's still young. Not sure he could be all that great though....may be a career minor league type of guy.

Could probably be a good reliever if he can consistently throw in the mid ninties with a decent offspeed out pitch. But he'll not be a starter. The development time for good starters doesn't allow for too many bumps in the road.

I feel like Vonleh will be the kind of guy we won't want to play against if we trade him. Just my thought.

We should hang on to him at least until the trade deadline. I think he's getting it. If not by then and one of the rookies looks better then we make a move.

I still really hate his contract, but, I figure if we get an equally good contract in return, maybe it's worthwhile.

If you want a PF that can shoot 3s and can't play defense, why not just start Biggie? He shot 45% from 3 at Purdue last year.... or Collins, who is probably as good a shooter as Ryan Anderson?

Lol you can't be serious...wanna bet neither shoot 40% from 3 next season? Swanigan isn't playing the Hawkeyes, he's gonna be playing the spurs

I don't want to lose Vonleh or Harkless. They both played well last season and IMHO, besides Nurk, have the highest upside on the team.

I'll await your thread where your unrealistic expectations weren't met.

True, he's good at cutting and Nurk is good at feeding him. Hark isn't a bad 3pt shooter either.

Prepare to be disappointed people.
