Harkless, Vonleh, and either Leonard or Turner for Melo.

At worst it's a huge salary dump.

No way. The HCP is the best yard man in the league, and he's always good for a laugh (at). I'd go so far as to say he's "untouchable". Throw in the fact we'd also lose his wife in the deal, and it's a non starter.

My lawn is yellow and burnt now. I disagree. I think A new yard man would be welcomed...

Rockets fans now trying to convince themselves that the Knicks should just buy out Anthony. Or that Anthony will insist on going to Houston so the Knicks have to trade him for garbage. Or that the Rockets have all the leverage.

It's cute that after a week of talk about how the Blazers and Knicks are in denial, now they seem to be the ones in denial.

Someone on Clutchfans bumped a thread from 1999 about how the Rockets will be calling the shots on any Pippen trade, so LA better be ready to pony up Shaq or Kobe.

Clutchfans has always been a hive of the delusional and entitled.

If we do get Melo then it up to Stotts to get a offense that works. Really I think all 4 key players all they want to do is to win.

Last concern I have is Stotts creating offense, more concerned on how we stop teams but hell with the way GS is built your probably At best playing for 2nd unless you add more talent and roll the dice

I honestly hate them more than any other fan base. They were actually wishing harm on Lillard after he bit that shot. Fuck them.

Rockets just signed Mbah a Moute to a contract. I wonder if that is them replenishing or giving up?

1 year $2.1mil

I think it is worth a short term experiment. Hate to give up Harkless for that, but as long as we don't give up anything else of high value then I guess it is worth a shot.

They should be giving up as they have nothing of value to offer NY or a 3rd team. I'd much rather facilitate a deal for Melo to Cleveland as Cleveland actually has valuable players.

Definitely not. It's a minimum deal and Rockets needed wing defenders regardless.

Signing Mbah a Moute might be a step towards being able to put Ariza in a deal, I don't know. I assume the Knicks wouldn't want Ariza at his age, but maybe a third team would.

The simplest answer, though, is that the move is unrelated. Mbah a Moute is a nice pickup on a minimum contract and they need depth.

Neil Olshey is going to be interviewed next in the Blazers summer league game. I'm sure he will clear this all right up and let us know he his plans here.

Neil tell us about your interest in Carmelo Anthony.

"Well, you know he's a great player but this is a process and I can't disclose the details of any deal at this moment."

Good thing New York has hired its GM. Can you imagine if Olshey dealt Lillard, McCollum and Nurkic to New York for Anthony and then took their GM job?

I could. They have more famous restaurants.

Turner, Harkless, Vonleh, Leonard, and a 2018 1st for Melo, Lee, O'Quinn.

We shed ET and Leonard, leaving our only bad contracts as AC and Lee, both of which will be tradeable next summer.

Lillard (35) / McCollum (13)
McCollum (22) / Lee (18) / Crabbe (8)
Anthony (32) / Crabbe (16)
Aminu (24) / Davis (20) / O'Quinn (4)
Nurkic (33) / O'Quinn (15)
