Well, we have a lot of company. That is how it happened with me as well. A slow build up and then a sudden change in everything where it just officially owned me. It was really confusing at first, but you find ways to deal. And yeah, I used to love driving, but it can be rough sometimes. One of the reasons I completely understood Royce White's travel problem.
Yep. Dec. 21st, 2014, 8:30 PM on a Saturday. I can still remember it. it freaking sucked. It was right after the Blazers owned the Pelicans by a crap ton of points (and the day after we got whooped by San Antonio)... was just sitting there minding my own business... then boom, 7.5 hour anxiety attack. ER visit, shots, the whole nine. Worst day of my life. And it's been a variable mess ever since. Good times.
And yes, I too get White's pain on that. You do find ways to deal, but if you don't get proactive on things, it can leave you homebound and you don't realize it for weeks because your mind is focused squarely on the anxiety.
Sorry to take this off topic... but it was important to talk about.
