Well, we have a lot of company. That is how it happened with me as well. A slow build up and then a sudden change in everything where it just officially owned me. It was really confusing at first, but you find ways to deal. And yeah, I used to love driving, but it can be rough sometimes. One of the reasons I completely understood Royce White's travel problem.

Yep. Dec. 21st, 2014, 8:30 PM on a Saturday. I can still remember it. it freaking sucked. It was right after the Blazers owned the Pelicans by a crap ton of points (and the day after we got whooped by San Antonio)... was just sitting there minding my own business... then boom, 7.5 hour anxiety attack. ER visit, shots, the whole nine. Worst day of my life. And it's been a variable mess ever since. Good times.

And yes, I too get White's pain on that. You do find ways to deal, but if you don't get proactive on things, it can leave you homebound and you don't realize it for weeks because your mind is focused squarely on the anxiety.

Sorry to take this off topic... but it was important to talk about.

Is this finally the Death Nail for Melo to Houston? Can somebody call Time of Death?

Clutchfans is really funny today.
This non-trade has them all crazy pants.
There is a thread with a poll with who the best center in the NBA is. Several of them hit the "other" option and wrote in Clint Capella.
It's quite beautiful.

What's clear is that the Knicks, under president Steve Mills and new GM Scott Perry, are committed to holding out for the best possible deal they can get from the Rockets or any other team. That seems like a sound approach. Can Houston come up with an offer that satisfies the Knicks? We'll see.

I don't remember much of the drama around Melo to the Knicks (from Denver) oringally, but this is one of the dumbest, long, drawn-out dramas I've ever seen in the NBA. CAN THIS JUST END?!

It won't end until Anthony realizes Houston isn't an option, or Morey decides to give up Gordon.

I love it. What else is there to talk about? Hopefully it stretches into September, as Fan Fest and preseason will start about a week earlier this year (end of September).

I could see Utah dumping Burks contract for sure. He's not in their rotation and is making too much.
What does Burks bring though? He's a poor defender and doesn't seem to do anything real well. Could be a buy-low candidate because he had a horrible year last year, but still. Isn't he injury prone too? He's only played about 40% of his teams games in the past 3 seasons.

I'm not too knowledgeable about him, that's just what I've gathered from the limited attention I've paid him. His stats don't look too great. What do you think? I think he'd be a downgrade from Crabbe.

"In this fall, we're gonna send his talents to Galveston Bay and, um, join the Houston Rockets."

You guys think waiting on the Melo trade is bad, I bet this irving trade takes a month, maybe more. Still the craziest offseason I have ever seen. So many stars moved
every team in our division (other than us) either gained or lost a player who was an all star last season.
