This turned up in my YouTube feed so, naturally, I had to share it. I mean, how can you not trust the NBA opinions of a guy with a handle like KrispyFlakes?

That was interesting but he ran the simulation with Crabbe and Harkless on the team.
 
I just read several posts on CF. They actually believe LBJ is going to Houston in 2018 via free agency...

With all the Melo talk what I took from that video was the shock that some people are going to have if Nurk stays healthy. That simulation gave him very little credit. Even with some of the pub he is getting there are still going to be a lot of people that are going to be absolutely shocked when he has a great season.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I'm not sure that it makes much difference in the record if it's Aminu and Turner handling the SF duties instead of Crabbe & Harkless. He seemed to be assuming that Collins would start at PF, while I would think that Carmelo would get the nod there. I think he'd have a tough time covering the quicker SFs in the West at this point in his career. Overall, I'd say that 48-50 wins is a pretty good guesstimate.

For the record, Eric Gordon's best season in the NBA was 22.3 ppg, with a PER = 18.5 on a TS% of .563. And that was 7 years, multiple teams and several injuries ago.

C.J. last season = 23.0 ppg, with PER = 19.9 and TS% = .585. C.J. is better today than Eric Gordon was 7 years ago - and C.J. is still improving.

Gordon's stats were also inflated by playing on a shitty Clippers team, while CJ put up those stats on a playoff team.

Yes, the thread can be merged but the poll would be added to the thread and that would make no sense.
