I'll put this here to keep this thread going. Hope I don't offend anybody with this post. Some might think I'm bragging about my job.

Last night got to be a part of nice pick up game with some damn good players. Good friend of mine I grew up with trains with players during the offseason and sets up runs for the guys. Last night Bazz and Jake Layman were there, Dame, Steve Blake. Ducks PG Pritchard, and a hand full of Pac-12 players and guys playing in Europe. Gym was hot as hell but there was some quality games going on out there. They didn't have enough to play, so I was asked to join. I lasted 2 games and then got yelled at by Dame, "Big John, get your old ass off the court!" Threw a couple dimes out there Sabonis style and that was it. I think my man scored all 11 points for the other team.
Felt damn good watching basketball again. The season is upon us FAMS! #BasketballOverEverything

Everybody understands the points you're making and in the end, HCP will still be HCP....causing panic like Don Rickles....who also in real life was supposedly a really nice guy.

Think about it, all the jokes about his wife and his response isn't to make it personal? That alone should clue people in that he's not being serious when he talks about "rookies" etc. If he seriously was that anal about how many posts you have to have to be able to post, do you honestly think he'd let the cracks about his wife and himself (lawn mowing, unable to spell or figure out what certain words mean) go?

I think we get it. He rubbed you the wrong way. But realize that he doesn't actually mean most of what he says on here. Talk to him in person/PM's, and you'll see he's always joking. He's not a bully, he's not mean, he's a goof.

If there's one thing you could say about HCP (outside of being all about his kids and Grant HS/NEP), it's that he doesn't take himself seriously. Nor should you.

I don't make jokes about his wife. I don't make jokes about mowing my lawn either. I just don't like it when people make troll posts. I give Sly the same amount of shit when he does it. I'm also willing to cut someone slack if they tend to bring legit discussion and not just troll posts.

For the record, in case you missed it, I have explained that I HAVE taken this to PM's. I never wanted this crap to be public like this. But I never once got a response. Instead it was used against me in an accusation that I was stalking him.
