I just kinda feel like we've been waiting on this Melo situation to resolve itself. The moves don't feel complete yet.

Given the choice, would you rather deal:
- Harkless, Meyers, and Davis
- Turner, Collins, Vonleh and 2018 #1

A. I believe in Collins.

Mcintyre now saying Melo is going to have to choose between Portland and staying in New York.
I'll hire him and buy an extinguisherif hes lying, he should be fired and burned alive
Yes, it's almost impossible to construct a defense to stop a guy holding the ball for the entire shot clockLook i can see why some don't want this to happen. But if you get a chance to get a pure scoring threat like Melo then you have to take that chance. The fact is a starting 5 of Dame,CJ, Melo, Vonleh/Swanigan/Collins/ and Nurkic gives any team huge headaches to guard and can cover most teams. Even GS or the Cavs. The Blazers immediately become a threat to make it to the WCF. They might not win a chip but that team would be a whole lot of fun to watch.
Will it happen? Who knows? But you got to admit the team would be a nightmare for defenses to guard.
Is getting Lee smart? We just signed Morrow.
This is my thinking as well. I don't think it will get the Blazers to the next level, but it would be fun, good or badIf it happens, it might not work out - but it would certainly get me excited for the season to find out!

He's talking about MEYERS DUMBASS!!The big guy who's lost a lot of weight?
Well, that proves it...
Shawn Kemp has lost 80 pounds, looks great and is making a comeback!!!

Lee is a much better defender than Morrow while he still hits 3s at a respectable clip.
How much weight has Meyers' dumb ass lost? And besides, don't we want our bigs to have weight in their asses (dumb or not)? He's talking about MEYERS' DUMB ASS!!

Yeah he is a much better defender buuuuut 12 Mil? Is he gonna play 6th man? That's a lot for a role guy.
I'm arguing with someone on Twitter about that same concept. IF NY is willing to take Meyers and/or Turner back in the deal, then sure. But if they're not willing to accept one of those guys, and insists on something like Harkless/Aminu/Davis/Vonleh, then it doesn't really help our salary situation all that much.I think bringing Melo in, at worst, cleans up our salary issues as long as we keep our big 3+ Collins... Question is what would your rotation be?
