It's hard to post facts over there as many don't care about facts.
If you don't think Har_en is the best thing ever and the NBA has it in for the Rockets. You get yelled @ over there.
Which leads to trolling yes.
yep. some people don't like the truth. I have a hard time when people state their opinion as fact. I also have a story about how when 20 people see something, but nobody saw the same thing. so you have 20 different set of facts.

You weren't as about as the ones that ran you off. ok, some of your post were over the top but .. in general

I agree, that is why it would not be a 2 team trade ... more than likely ... unless Knicks cave.
Youve been trying to argue that the Knicks would accept Gordon and Ariza for Melo, and it's debatable whether they'd want those two. I've been trying to show you the writing on the wall which is that they don't want either of those, at all. Nobody wants Anderson either.

The only chance is that 2 teams would give up 2 first round picks and expirings for Ariza and Gordon.

For example, if you brought up a hypothetical of Gordon to a team like WAS and Ariza to a team like Memphis with NYK getting a HOU, MEM, and WAS Future 1st, as well as Satoransky, Jason Smith, Brandon Wright, and salary matchers I'd say it's a longshot but respect it because it's at least possible. However, nobody's going to give up a 1st for Ariza, and only a contender would trade a 1st for Gordon. So PORs offer of Harkless and a 1st already beats out the offer of a 2020 HOU 1st and another late 1st.

Nothing you've said is even plausible though.

My thought is he goes with friends. Money is made. Time to play with friends and see what havoc they can create.
I think Melo and Dame/CJ are becoming tight. Melo and Dame would be hella cool with each other.

In all honesty though it just feels like this wont happen. I want it too but we always get the shit end of the stick when it comes to getting certain players

...if for no other reason, I want to see Meyers deal with the New York fanbase/media :biglaugh:

The more it drags, the more I feel this could become a real possibility. Melo knows he won't make playoffs at Knicks so he may as well accept a trade here and play out his final year of contract before eventually moving to play with one of his mates next year.

hmmm first post, negative

Most likely it's the same guy who used to post under the moniker @ODENISGOD many years ago. A sad Bills fan who never paid up on a bet with Sly.

idk I think I only posted three times?
One of which I enjoyed because a rocket fan laughed when I posted lillard hitting the shot over parsons. Was something like. 'omg you have one post on that account from x join date, and it's of that shot! lol'
I don't really remember the other two lol. Can't go back and look either. Oh well.

Someone who is talented, needs to post .9 on CF after it is confirmed Melo is coming to the Blazers but this time put Melo's face on the basketball.

Also maybe something like Its Melo time Flashing above when Lillard spins around(or as the basketball goes in the hoop) and then Welcome to Portland Carmelo Anthony.

Anyways, you guys are the wizards with all that so I know it will be good regardless.

I think trade with HOU will happen, they will find 3rd team to facilitate the trade
you can always find stupid GM to make a bad move

Agreed....I just don't see that happening and he isn't likely to expand his no trade clause to many other teams that have the young pieces to do any better. Ironically, the possibility here for POR is they get him almost by default because no one else can or he doesn't want to go there more than he doesn't want to come here.

OT: From Kenny Anderson's Twitter feed... a great pic of 3 Portland PGs:

it's plausible they do not want EG/Ariza. I get it. I never said it would be a 2 team deal. Someone says the Rox do not have anything the knicks want. I said the rox have stuff, but won't trade it.
Which leaves the 3rd team as the most probable if the Rox get melo.

2 1st, Ariza, AND Gordon is to expensive. I'm sure of that. I am not good with hypothetical trades, because I do not know other teams players that well. So I am not going to propose one. I could use trade machine to make the money right, but player value would be off. A 3 by any other name is not a 3.

I agree Portland has better trade assests. Easy to say. The catch for portland is the NTC. Melo is in the twlight of his career. If he is hoping to go to Houston, which he has stated, why would he say he would except a portland deal to blazers and sabatoge the negotiations? Your response will probable be either
"He wants to go to Portland" or "He doesn't want to go to Houston?" Then why not just open up the NTC now and go? why fiddle with Houston any more?

Does he have time to play in portland while the team gets better around him?
You argued Hou has 2 of the greatest all-time chokers and a choker of a coach. You might even argue Melo is a choker for rarely making the playoffs, (not olympic melo). That said, Rox with Melo have a better chance of beating GSW than Portland with Melo.

Thats how I feel too. There will be some idiot who takes an aging Patrick Ewing so another team gets a star.

If I were the Knicks, I would
(a) hope that Melo refuses to come to camp, because then you don't have to pay him, or failing that
(b) sit Melo until he waives his no-trade clause. There is no way in hell I'd trade him to Houston for scraps.
