If they keep playing like this Melo might happen.

And then they'll keep playing like this.
Damn, what’s taking so long? I swore he’d be on a roster by now. What gives?
Technically he's still on the Rockets. They can't waive him because then any bad team could claim him off of waivers because he's only making the minimum.Damn, what’s taking so long? I swore he’d be on a roster by now. What gives?

You want Neil to trade for Carmelo?Shit, this has been going on so long I forgot they hadn’t even released him yet!
What are people's thoughts on this now?
...to find out how easily we could give up 140?Seems like many are pointing to the defense for our struggles but we were pretty good defensively last year and it didn’t help us any in the playoffs. We need a legit third guy that teams will respect and adjust the way they defend our guards. Is Melo that guy? Idk, but considering where we’re at and what it would cost, I’m willing to find out
Still against it. Id be ok with it if we only gave up less that SwainaganWhat are people's thoughts on this now?

Whats funny is how they talk about bringing in a guy to teach the young guys stuff. NO doesnt seem to value that veteran guy who can teach the young players either. It's time for him to quit.
Really doesn't matter to me one way or another. He could hit a shot or two but he isn't gonna help on defense at this point. Aminu will play before him if they were to pick him up.Whats funny is how they talk about bringing in a guy to teach the young guys stuff. I wasnt really talking about Melo. I just think having an old vet around to teach the younger players is something the Blazers have lacked for a while.Really doesn't matter to me one way or another. A sad way to end his career.
Gerald Henderson...he's that guy and he's unsigned and healthy..has mad leadership skillsI wasnt really talking about Melo. I just think having an old vet around to teach the younger players is something the Blazers have lacked for a while.
I read he tore his achilles. I read that in the last month or so.Gerald Henderson...he's that guy and he's unsigned and healthy..has mad leadership skills
He had hip surgery over a year ago I believe when he finished with Philly..I hadn't heard anything about his achilles...link? Last I read he was fully recovered and looking for a role..and that was this summer.I read he tore his achilles. I read that in the last month or so.

Henderson had hip surgery back in August, but he's medically cleared for about a couple months. He's currently working on his conditioning and hopes to land another job in the NBA for next season.
