Should the Blazers puruse Carmelo Anthony?

Knicks just hired Thibs....a guy who took two very talented teams and broke them beyond repair with abrassive micro managing....he'll hate Dolan 3 games into the season...the Knicks are the revolving door of the NBA...haven't been relevant since Alan Houston played...Melo had about 250 different teammates in NY and a dozen coaches...Dame and Stotts are a lot more stable for a guy his age and in his situation...Oregon is a much better place to raise a child and invest in wine than New York City ....I think Melo's found a home in Portland

The Thibs in Minny experiment failed because he's a coach who should not have been a Pres of Bball Ops at the same time. He was terrific leading a young team in Chicago. He gets his players to play HARD-- yes, prolly to their detriment, but I think he learned his lesson.

I think he's the best defensive assistant coach in the league but lacks the temperament to be a head coach...also think he shortened the careers of many player in that Bulls roster led by Rose by overplaying them....Nate used to do that in the BRoy days as well....
 
Let’s make sure we have plenty of healthy back and forth about Melos return to the team. And if/when he does let us make sure to comment about his performance during the season.

You haven't been around here that long have you? I probably watch more games from around the league than most. I've had the NBA League Pass for 20 years. I record around 4 games a night and watch. I record and watch summer league. I'm as big a fan of the game as I am of the Blazers. Also I'm obviously the biggest Laker fan in this forum.
Curious why you would ask me this?

But why? Can't you just ask Adam Silver to tell you how it all ends? I'm sure he could let you see how they have these playoffs story boarded if you asked him nicely. :devilwink:

Really? All you've done since the day you've shown up here is kill our players and crack on the staff about how we acquired them instead of another player on whoever team we are playing at the time.....OR.......Verbally master bating a player on the team we are playing and their staff for how much better of a job they have done than us in all aspects of operations. Literally EVERY TIME! You just aren't a fan of this team and I wonder why you come on here other than to stir shit up. But you need to come correct in terms of me and how I am around here. Learn the forum, then post.

I have always loved you tin-foil hat conspiracy theories about the league and it being "fixed". I'll give you props for always standing by it.

When I was fairly young I crawled into my (4 years older) sisters bed late at night one Easter and we talked about the Easter bunny. I must have told her I wanted to see it or something Because I distinctly remember her telling me that if I see the Easter bunny it would melt into a pile of diarrhea. Now truthfully I think my sister discovered the truth some years earlier and was just afraid that if I did the Easter bunny would stop coming to the house :biglaugh:

They just might or actually probably will. To re-answer your question from a different thread the Blazers in uniform to start next season might just be Dame, CJ, Ariza, Melo, Nurk, Gary, Zach, Nas, Ant, Hoodie, Wenyen, pick 16, pick 46, and two two-way players (maybe Rio stays and it's just one two-way player) with Melo taking the whole fucking MLE... I just wouldn't put it past Neil to think, "all we have to do is just run this one back with everyone healthy."
