oh yeah..saw them live many times atWinterland and Filmore West in 71 ..great band. Tower of Power is one of my favorite all time bands. I've seen them dozens of times. My band used to cover Soul Vaccination, What is hip and a couple of other tunes. Soul Vaccination is a mutha to play. East Bay Grease may be one of the best funk albums ever recorded. My old signature at the original Blazer msg boards used to say I want the team to play like Tower of Power in a small sweaty club on a hot night
