I support the police.

But I also demand that the police support and follow our constitutional rights, and the local and state laws in the jurisdictions they serve.

A bad police officer, or even a good police officer who makes a mistake, can do great damage to people, including taking someone's freedom or life.

That's why in another thread that gets little discussion or attention, I continually post videos about our civil and constitutional rights. While most claim to know what they are, few actually do and know how to protect them. But also to know what to do when they are violated. Holding a bad or mistaken officer or department accountable is one of the things that has set this country apart. In many countries, there is no questioning the actions of law enforcement. There is no redress for when police take illegal actions against the citizens they are sworn to protect.

Today Trump has made it much more difficult to hold bad officers and departments accountable.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again……who cares. At least he didn’t flood the world with hate and give a green light that it is ok to treat other human beings like shit.

A lot of people care. That's why a lot of them voted for Trump over Dem options or chose not to vote at all.

I'm not trashing on Obama. Simply giving him an honest review. He didn't really even try to do what he said he would.

What he said he'd do was why so many were so optimistic the first time he won.

Now, his Dem cabinet was probably advising him not to do those things. And he probably trusted them and dialed it back. Maybe.

But that was the wrong move. That was playing politics. The Republicans who have been radicalized and taken over the party aren't playing that game.

Heritage Foundation literally wrote his healthcare legislation but I'm supposed to thank him for all his brilliant progressivism... SMH.

He also wants to rename the Defense Department to the War Department.
 
It was War Department. Changed to Defense to back not quite true notion US was not aggressor nation but only defending itself.
