If the next Congress takes its responsibilities seriously;
If they are able to install a new Supreme Court majority that respects the Constitution and rule of law;
If a solid majority of the population agrees on the need to rebuild institutions and restore the world's trust in the US;

It will take a generation to undo the damage Trump has done.
