I will add what I do not agree with is others telling me what what is without the ability to debate/discuss. Whether it be what a woman is, when life begins etc. Hiding behind ultimatums does nothing to help the cause they rail for.
I've seen it alot and in here. I've been told to fuck off for simply trying to have a discussion about abortion, as if its not my right to discuss. It IS as much my right to discuss it as it is for a woman to have an abortion. And all reason goes by the waste side when told, you have no say. Its a completely immature stance and totally negates any potential validity to the stance the individual may have on the topic.
I think we are in this divisive state BECAUSE extremists will not allow discussion and just want to tell people what is. It's sad to me that too often I see those wanting discussion, only trying to better understand/communicate (with)the other's view and denied that by those who draw lines. I think this leads to people saying screw it then. You don't want to discuss it then Ill just vote against it. If you cant have a discussion explaining your view(s) then your view is not worth fighting for. And this is now where we are out on the political spectrum.
