I hope, for the sake of the historical record, that somebody somewhere is setting up (or has already) a calendar, so that you can look up every day of the year and find the batshit crazy and illegal stuff that Donald Trump did or said on that date, because for every single fucking day of the year there would be MULTIPLE entries (and this would be true if you didn't combine all years into one calendar but did it by date rather than just compress everything into a year). It's just a firehose and most of his shit is forgotten within a month.

Trump's proposed budget not only includes $1.5 trillion for military, a number we just can't comprehend, blows up the debt which as already doubled under Trump after he promised to eliminate it, and drastically cuts social services. It also allocated $500 million to redecorate the White House residence. That means not the entire White House, just the section where Trump lives when he isn't golfing.
So when world war escalates, your kids are hungry, your mom's social security was cut, roads aren't fixed, fire department can't respond and gas gets even more expensive, comfort yourself knowing Trump is gold plating his White House residence.

At Easter Egg Hunt, Trump talked to children about Biden's and Harris's low IQ, speculating which of them had lower IQ and said all "egg voters" supported him. Also ranted to children about Biden using auto pen.
He didn't find any eggs. Maybe the White House can't afford them.

And New York Times simply reported Trump hosted annual Easter Egg Hunt.

25th unlikely as it would need both Cabinet and Congress.

Honestly though... Isn't this akin to victim blaming? Weren't these people scammed?
If there is a pile of dogshit in your yard (Sly visited overnight), and you put a sign on it that says "Dog shit for sale, $1 million, and someone buys it, was the buyer scammed?

Rather than the price being 1 million wouldn't it be more like you would receive a lifetime of safety, security, and freedom?

Isn't that what he offered them? Cheaper prices. Cheaper and more gas. More and better jobs. Less competition...

Any buyer who can claim that they were genuinely scammed should thereby renounce all rights to independent living, starting with the right to vote.

Didn't the systems that we neglected cause this, though? Our love affair with religion, which has been a huge anchor on quality of education.

Our reliance on corporate funding for elections.

These are things that our leadership has pushed off on us. I also think both of these things have exacerbated the education and racism problems. As well as prevented us from getting ready access to quality healthcare.

Democrats (leadership, and in primaries) have got to stop supporting politicians who keep trying to meet in the middle. This has been devastating because Republicans keep stepping further to the right.

I really think this is a result of poor strategy on the side of the Democrats. If you're going to keep moving "center" the right is going to keep moving right as well.

That gives the right the power to manipulate large swaths of the population.

Blaming the uneducated and scared people who were manipulated seems counterproductive.

What about the educated and powerful? Whatever else they might be, Mitch McConnell, John Roberts, the tech CEOs, the university presidents, the major media are not stupid people. They know exactly what Trump is and they put him in office, kept him in office, gave him billions of dollars and immunity from prosecution.

Yeah, I think they are getting exactly what they voted for. They are just bad people. I don't think they regret their vote.

While tempting, I like to think our solution in this democracy would be more democratic than simply punishing people for voting wrong... It seems that could set a dangerous precedent...

Yep. Absolutely.

Blaming the uneducated and scared people who were manipulated seems counterproductive.

As does blaming people who were opposed to said manipulation.
