The Two Things Holding Us Back

At the beginning of the year, when we had both Jrue and Wesley, our pressure was much better.
Our biggest need is depth with all these guys out.

Next year, we will not have to worry about FT shooting with Dame closing out games.

We also have the third-lowest defensive rebounding percentage in the league, as well as the third-highest ratio of FTA to FGA allowed. As well as the fourth-lowest eFG%.

So yeah, shooting inefficiently, not finishing defensive possessions, and fouling too much--all kinda big deals.

Odd to be 2nd in OR and 24th in DR. Seems like the disparity should be closer.

While it’s sucked having no healthy PG it’s been good for both Deni and Sharpe.
Yeah, they'll be much more advanced as secondary playmakers than they would have been and once they are secondary playmakers instead of running the point they'll likely become more efficient as far as turnovers go.

Well, we got Jrue back and we still turn the ball over way too much. Can a team succeed when its two main passers (Deni and Scoot) have frankly awful turnover ratios? Do we need to draft somebody who can take care of the fucking ball?

I missed the times when we were one of the worse defensive teams in the league and made the playoffs….. sigh. #FireStotts

Guess Jrue dint help much. The problem is DENI. He can’t be the primary ball handler and run an offense. He is a turnover factory

I missed the times when we had both best D & O in the league and we won the whole enchilada!
