The last 2 posts exemplify exactly the arrogance and ignorance among most of this f*cking countries citizens. It's really quite mind-boggling. And you're right, the military shouldn't be helping out it's own citizens in a time of devastation and need... It should be destroying foreign countries that have nothing to do with them, and putting THEM in a state of devastation and need!

I have a hard time saying Saddam supported terrorists considering he didn't allow extreme muslim groups inside his country. Sure he paid some homicide bomber families but thats about it.

The security forces are filled with extremeists and renegades unfortunately...there's no screening checks with them...Everything is a mess. When religions run governments and dominates politics it doesn't work, thats why the middleeast and Iraq will be a mess forever. Our government was nieve enough to think we could easily take over and change things...Saddam's goverment kept that religious fire in check..and now that it's released it's exploding...and we didn't expect it.
