Well i never had a problem with the word "Gay" being used to describe a "gay person".

N word used to be accepted, now, not so much. As time goes on, there will always be progress, it marches forward, and that's a good thing. A while ago we got rid of the N-word, then F** and if we have to get rid of a few additional ones, no big whoop as long as we still have an expressive enough language to get across our meaning without offending, then why in the world would you want to offend.
