The only guy coming back with any power is grandy which is another lefty and won't be back till sometime in august. A-rod is the righty coming back and doesn't look promising as he is still not hitting a ball pitching, could be facing a long mlb suspension after the all-star break or may retire if he thinks he will get all his money that way thru insurance. Only hope for trade is hughes and/or joba to a contender which doesn't seem like that will get much or curses of curses maybe try bringing a righty hitter up from triple or double A and give them a chance to sink or swim.

We may be able to get something for Hughes but as far as Joba, I don't think we could get a donut & a cup of coffee for that fat bastard.

I have to disagree... time to trade away pieces and start the rebuilding... this team just isn't good enough to do anything... this year, or in the near future... so why not build for the future now... you have to at some point... I say now

I agree with you 100%. Age has caught up to this team and it's time to rebuild. For example Granderson is going to be gone in free agency and if they can't move Ichiro I would pray he has an itch to go back to Japan next season. Going into next year you have Jeter who's going to be 40 and third base is a question mark. Tex you have to hope comes back refreshed after a year off and with a different mindset. Resign Cano because you have to have something.

I'm a die hard Celtic fan & they're in the rebuilding process. Its time for the Yankees to do it also. Don't give Robby a blank check & don't resign Granderson. For starters.
