1. Roy finally looked like the old Roy in the last game. Is he finally all the way back? We will get a better handle on it tonight, but if he is, we are pretty much a lock for the big dance.

2. LMA has been mostly playing LMA like basketball after the all-star break - if History shows us something - he is going to be a handful for the remainder of the year. That's very good news for Portland.

3. Batum is finally coming to play without the shoulder protection, Tonight will be his 15th game of the season, he should be rounding into proper game shape, finally. That's good news for us, bad news for our opponents.

4. Camby's injury is nothing more than a sprain. He is also not a farmer. Has no clue how to plant wheat, pick apples or milk the cows. In other good news, ankles are not udders. Can't milk them.

5. Bayless is from Arizona, no cows there as well. Hopefully his ankle is is not lactating as well.

Repped for the thread title, alone!

A win tonight could help generate some confidence, even if it is against a team without Bosh. This team just needs to see a few W's in a row, and some of the younger players need to see the ball going through the net, even if it is against teams that aren't that great.

One of the most overrated Blazers I can ever remember.

If he's the "Next Scottie Pippen" I'd hate to see the "Next Nic Batum."

Batum will never be one of the 50th greatest players ever . However Scottie Pippen was still playing for Central Arkansas at the same age Nic is now. Nic at the same age is better.

Possibly a fair comment.

Didn't ROY grimice on a play in the first quarter? Mike and Mike pointed that out. Roy should be better for Friday.

Didn't look to bother him after he threw down that nice left-handed dunk.

He is our best perimeter defender, bar none. Him getting into game shape is good for the Blazers - what this means for Scottie Pippen, Charles Barkley or Lenny Wilkins is irrelevant for the discussion.

If Portland's rotation (sans Joel & Greg) stays relatively healthy from here on out, I'd expect them to go on a bit of a run and move up in the playoff seedings. This is a very talented team that meshes well together. I absolutely love the length and D along the front line with Camby's addition.
