Pretty sure I'd have told them they couldn't wear jet black face paint if I were there but I wouldn't have had a better answer than just cuz.

Learned the photo of the black player in Orange is likely fake but even if it is real so what? Edit..most likely real..

If they didn't have black paint on their faces are they allowed to taunt opposing players?

I think the best way to fix this is to put them in prison now and save the world.

Don't even entertain this calvin dude, he is too busy dancing around the facts of the video with the "what about this?!?!" tactic. All they do is play these games, he will always try to win and one up you so fuck it

WTF are you talking about. I watched the video. I watched other videos today. It doesn’t change my mind. I know exactly what kinds of kids these kids are. You don’t think I do. Fine. I do know why people say it isn't ok. I even know why people pretend black face paint is the same thing as a minstrel show.

I've wondered for years how Raider fans get away with black makeup.

In 2018, Trump funded more money to the 100 Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) than any president in our history.

$360,000,000 which was $32,000,000 more than Obama.

This is literally racism... You know what kind of kids they are because they’re white, catholic students who are wearing trump attire. Its like seeing a bunch of black kids dressed a certain way and saying you know exactly what kind of kids they are. You dont know ANY of them, you are using your experiences to justify stereotyping a large group. It's a school thing they do apparently, hence why the whole body is painted, not just the face. People will twist and turn it however they want

Uhm... that's only one action. And he didn't really do it, Congress did it. At most, he didn't veto the bill.

And if you think it's a great accomplishment, you might want to consider voting for Kamala Harris for president, she just declared and apparently she and Doug Jones had a lot to do with getting the funding through the Senate.

I’ve read about the school.
I’ve got experience with 1) rich 2) white 3) hard core conservative people 4) kids who act like this. Lived it. Lived IN it. I am not just walking by a group and saying oh yeah I know exactly what that group is all about. I would bet everything I have that I know what this group - in general - is all about. I also know what they are NOT about. Could I be all wrong? Sure. I highly doubt it. You don’t agree? Also fine.

No, it was Trump's budget.
The increase in funding happened after Trump had representatives from most of the 100 Black schools in for a meeting.

Trump's budget is at most advisory. Congress is what actually allocates money.

Know what wasn't in Trump's budget? Funding for the wall.

I dont know, and I think its a dangerous precedent to stereotype.
You could very well be right.
We all have experiences in life both good and bad, with different groups of people, but that doesnt really mean we knew some so we know them all.

For whatever its worth I really dont believe they were a bunch of innocent bystandards, now some of them may have been just along for the ride, highschool is a weird time for kids who want to fit in. I just think throwing shade at everyone in group is usually a bad idea.

Anyways I respect your view point to the extend of I understand why you would have those conclusions. So I guess theres that. Going to watch basketball now, I hope you have a good evening.

I just love how in the United states the “mid-west” is so far to the east and how a lot of the “south” is further north than a map would make you think.
When they were first “discovering” land and hesding east Im sure it made sense but Im surprised we havent updated some of these terms yet.
