Dude, do you not understand what "hard-capped" means? There are reasons teams avoid this situation like the plague.
Calm down and let's see what happens.

That doesn’t really bother me. I don’t think it was his fault as he’s never really been the center piece of any team.
Yet, the Pels we're able to trade for CJ.
Didn't hurt Miami too bad
The more I think about it the more I’m ok with what we did.
We had two routes this summer.
1: Trade 7, future picks, Nas, etc for the best we could get—maybe OG or Collins or Ayton or someone like that.
2. Make a bet that one or more of Nas, Ant, and Sharpe pop this year and significantly increase their value.
#2 occurring, plus picks and stuff, is the only way to a superstar. #1 doesn’t get you there and we blow our load on a mid-tier player.
But I actually feel pretty confident that 1 of our 3, if not 2 or more, will pop and be worth more in 6 months than they are today.
We can argue Payton vs. Warren or Jalen Smith and if that was the right call. But ultimately this is an inconsequential debate as far as our ultimate ceiling is concerned.
Wish we were.

Since he posted him and KD in Blazer uniforms this can only mean he's referencing KD....or the team has explored trading him but this by no means tells me he wants out. Maybe he found out one of his friends is being traded...who knows...otherwise he's earned the right to fuck with the media after last summer. If we're trading him I'm going to be really disappointed.

This is the sort of thing that happens when your team fails to make any kind of power moves year after year after year.
Maybe not, but why WOULDN'T it be the most negative interpretation? You guys don't even know what the fuck he is referring to.
What do you think he might be referring to? A report already came out that he's going to wait and see what kind of moves we make before he signs his extension. So if that's true then his mind is clearly in the territory of leaving. You guys don't even know what the fuck he is referring to.

Don't really blame Dame, but he waited FAR to long for this. The pressure he needed to put on was after being routed by the Pelicans. They weren't close and significant changes needed to be made. That is when Dame should have become more public and vocal. By letting Olshey hang around and by lobbying for Stotts to stay, it only made things tougher to recover from and now that he is nearing the final years of his prime, he is getting naturally impatient.
