Notice This is the worst Blazer team I have seen in my lifetime.

1-8 against the better teams is not building.

Records are mirages. Dig deeper.
3-1 vs Lakers/Sixers
2-1 vs Mavs

if we had lots of wins against teams above us, they wouldn’t be above us

Yep, give me the JailBlazers anytime. They humiliate the other teams and destroys them.

No they didn't.
2001-2005 was not a good time at all.
Lost in the first round one year and didn't even make the playoffs after that.

Not the worst team, but this is one of my top 4 most unenjoyable teams to watch since I started watching (90) ... so much talent and we're fighting for the playoffs (again)

I would say we all knew that team was bad and nothing was expected of them. At least with that team we had the hope of a franchise-changing lottery pick. This team is built to contend and might miss the playoffs.
And what did we do with that franchise-changing lottery pick? Was the franchise changed? No. Even once we got Roy, we never won a playoff series.

Those were some of the most enjoyable seasons. Cheap seats. Sneak down to the 100-level since the arena was empty. Was Bassy the next great Point Guard? Would Martell be Ray Allen 2.0? Neither of those ended up being true, but it was fun to hope. I don't have much hope in the current Blazers.

Everybody needs to relax. It’s going to get blown up this summer. What is everybody so anxious about? It’s clear Stotts done after this season, Nurk and Cj will probably get traded.

Let’s all relax and enjoy the rebuild coming up.

Told ya even before this but hey

I'm not relaxing because I don't know if the Vulcans will hold Neil accountable and I sincerely doubt he trades CJ or Nurk... hopefully I'm wrong. Hopefully when next season starts we have a new GM, coach and team around Dame that doesn't include CJ and that can better compete for a title.

Until Stotts, Melo, CJ and Olshey are gone, likely nothing changes.

Stotts - no defense or accountability
Melo - there is a reason he wasn't playing anywhere else. Gives up more than he inefficiently scores and ignores teammates on a lightly basis.
CJ - nice game against Memphis, but most nights he is Chucker J who is Iso-centric and is a defensive liability.
Olshey - won't change the core of this team and keeps trying ti improve the periphery. Not good in the 1sr round of the Draft.

Regardless of post-season outcome, I proclaim this is NOT the worst Blazer team I have seen in my lifetime.

Came into the season as one of the 4th-7th best rosters in the West. Lost Nurk & CJ for a huge chunk, no Collins, and still finish T-5 in the West.

wut? RPM from when, the previous season and applied to teams 3 weeks before the season began?

pointless stupid fucking tweet....and by the way, ESPN's RPM has been broken for 2 years

You must have forgot all the outrage this tweet caused on Dec 1 on this board. I'm not saying I agreed with it. Thought it was funny looking back at it.

Calm down my friend!

You had hope for Bassy but have no hope for Dame? Jesus what is your problem? Got it. You hate success. You prefer failure.

I would say the Telfair/PatterNash years were the worst of my entire Blazers fandom. Watching them inexplicably (or perhaps explicably BECAUSE of Telfair) NOT draft Chris Paul and then trade down for Webster... that still stings.

It doesn't hurt as bad as the Roy/Oden/Aldridge troika that should have been, but PatterNash had self-inflicted terrible decisions that led to bad basketball and dark, dark days for me as a Blazers fan.

The Luke Babbit, Raymond Felton team was my least favorite to watch probably in the locked out season when Nate was fired, BRoy and Oden retired and BRoy joined the Wolves. Kaleb Canales era. Telfair era I didn't follow closely as I was overseas with little access in those days other than the newspaper

Further proof it's impossible for the worst team in my lifetime to have Dame on it... he refuses to be a part of something like that.
