The governor should make all the Eugene area pot shops have a 75% off sale at the same time on Friday.
The I-5 traffic would be gridlocked from Seattle to Sacramento.

I-5 would still be gridlockedLimit the sale to those who haven't showered in a week and smell like patchouli.
IOWA (VFB) — When Presidential candidates come to town, local police departments spring into action to ensure not only that candidate’s safety, but the safety of the public and everyone involved. Substantial time and resources are spent planning and executing such events, which if not reimbursed by the campaigns, must be covered by local taxpayers.
“I think a lot of people just assume that those costs are being reimbursed, and they aren’t,” Marshalltown, IA Police Chief Mike Tupper, told me over the phone Tuesday afternoon.
“I am happy to report that Bernie Sanders paid.”
Not only did Sanders pay, “He actually asked up front how much, and he paid those costs, which makes him the first candidate to do so in my 23 years [of law enforcement in Iowa].”

FEEL THE BERN!
It's cool that he pays the local communities for the extra police protection.
I don't get into politics at all, but that's cool. Sticking by his words.
Hillary and Donald both say they support the police, Sanders is supporting them and the communities that pay their salaries.
(That statement was not an endorsement of Sanders or means that I plan on voting for him. In the past Denny has a hard time with that.)
Bernie supports a police state.
I'd go to the Trump Rally. But, if Cali was any indication of how the opposition acts, I'd rather stay at home and not get assaulted.
Oh I see... You're on the side of the old man who sucker punched the black guy? Figures...
Dude please don't race bait. A sucker punch is bullshit, I will give you that. But it pales into comparison of what was going on in Cali... Please take your head out of the sand.
They were stomping on a cop car, kicking supporters cars, spray painting on everything, and assaulting people. It was a god damn violent mob.
Edit: and before you start determining sides, realize I am on the side of America. I wan't people to vote for whomever they want, without needing to feel threatened, regardless of political view.
Race bait? Wow... WTF are you talking about?? Not sure where you're going with that one... Nor did I condone anything that's happening in Cali.
Trump wants these confrontations. You pick the one city in Oregon that would have the greatest amount of protestors and the least amount of police and resources to deal with them and that would be Eugene. Protestors means press. Press means attention.
The best thing that could happen is if no one showed up to protest, unfortunately that's not how it goes in Eugene. Trump is trolling them and they don't even realize it.
That, or maybe they were peaceful for a change....
Trump supporters aren't some sweet innocent victims. Anyone who doesn't completely support Trump his followers immediately insult and try to shout down. They do it online, they do it at rallies. You build an atmosphere of hysteria and hysterical things happen. If you repeatedly try and provoke a reaction you can't get upset at the reaction you provoked.
Look at today's bad guy in the world of Trump, Paul Ryan said he's not ready to support Trump yet.
Ryan said he hopes to eventually back Trump and "to be a part of this unifying process." The first moves, though, must come from Trump, he said. Now there is complete outrage by Trump supporters. "Ryan isn't a real republican." "Ryan needs to be replaced." "Cuckservative" Ryan didn't say a damn thing wrong.
Ryan said he wants Trump to unify "all wings of the Republican Party and the conservative movement" and then run a campaign that will allow Americans to "have something that they're proud to support and proud to be a part of."
"And we've got a ways to go from here to there," Ryan said.
Personally I think the people trying to protest and disrupt Trump rallies are morons but that's their right. Just like I personally would never burn an American flag, that's freedom of speech and your right. You can't keep throwing hate and anger out and not expect some to come back and a big part of Trump's campaign is fostering that environment.
