This may be the most interesting NBA playoffs in a long time

Underdogs galore, actual compelling stories that ESPN and ABC don't have to shove down our throat, excellent play on the court, superstars being overshadowed by superior team basketball, but still playing excellent games. It's like David Stern decided to be hands-off this year and let the chips fall where they may. Maybe the starfucker fans like KingSpeed aren't enjoying it, but I sure as hell am. I wish the Blazers could have joined in the party, but obviously they aren't ready yet. Cho has his work cut out for him this offseason.

Yeah actually I see Stern giving memos to the refs to call it fair. Only game 1 for the Blazers vs. Dallas looked lopsided. Other than that, everything looked fair.

Well yeah!!!!! LOL. I am rooting for Dallas to go all the way; but if you saw me at the home game; you would have thought I hated the Mavs just as much as any Blazer fan hates the Lakers. The Blazers are, by far, my most favorite professional sport team. No football, soccer, hockey, baseball, whatever even comes close.

chris- don't know what you're talking about. I just defended the stars who have actually played well. That said, in another thread, I already said that my two favorite teams in the playoffs are Memphis and Atlanta. AND, I've consistently said I HATE the Heat and they have the most stars. But even though I hate the Heat and want them to lose for their arrogance (not 5, not 6, not 7), that doesn't mean I don't acknowkedge what Wade and LeBron accomplished in this league.

Outside of the Blazers losing, I'm LOVING the playoffs. I thoroughly enjoyed both games last night.

P.S. You're a quitter who trashed our team throughout our series, even in wins. Best game of the playoffs (of ANY of the series) was our Game 4 and you quit before you saw the end.

The difference between the "contenders" and most of the others isn't that much. SA, Orlando, LAL, Boston all got worse. Miami, OKC, Chi are on the up and up. They wouldn't typically be good enough to win it all but given the weakening former NBA elite teams they could definitely sneak in a title run this season. Hawks are a veteran playoff club and Grizz are looking awful dangerous though I still give both of these teams little chance to get to the finals (despite currently being up 1-0 in their respective series).
