Strome and Kreider should not be on the first PP unit. I don't give fuck if Kreider has 7 goals. We have seen this shit for 10 years with him. He'll go on a stretch for 20 games where he is invisible. This PP hasn't scared anybody since 1994. I don't give a fuck where it ranked last year. This organization is showing no commitment to developing Kakko or Lafreniere. These are the first and second picks in the draft. They need to get first PP time, all the time to get going and develop. They have done nothing but get stronger and faster. Fucking Strome probably won't even be resigned. Kreider is going to be in his mid 30's sooner than later. They are fucking both these guys careers up. You're putting Lafreniere with a role player in Blais and a kid in Chytil who is clueless and looks like he will never be more than a 30 point role player. They fucked Hajek over. They will fuck Jones over unless they deal him to give him a career. They fucked Barron over all this year. Playing retards in Hunt and McKegg over him who have no upside and do nothing well.

I can see it now. They are going to end up trading one of Kakko or Lafreniere. They will go to another organization. Play on the first PP unit right away and fuck the Rangers up the ass for 15 years. It's almost a given. I thought Drury might be better than Gorton and actually use the depth in his farm to bring in a center than Lafreniere can play with. Looks like I was wrong. He's another pussy who doesn't have the balls to make the big deal. Not to mention tell his coach to get Strome and Kreider off the first pp unit. If you look at the top PP units every year in hockey, they don't rely on a big, dumb fuck standing infront to get PP deflection goals. They do it with one timers and high quality shots from the high slot. Something this team hasn't figure out in 25+ years.

With developing defenseman and forwards I think this organization is one of the better one in hockey. When it comes developing forwards, I might rank them dead last in the entire league. They are that incompetent. They have absolutely no fucking clue. You can see it. It's obvious.

Chyti has played 9 games he has 1 point. Blais has played 8 games he has 0 goals and 3 A. His role isn't scoring. These are the dudes you put Lafreniere with? I gave Chytil one more chance a week ago. I actually thought he played better with Lafreniere than Zibanejad. However, the kid is a dud on this team. He needs a change of scenery. They need to package him and dump him now before he loses all his value. Vancouver sucks. They have no depth. Horvat is 26. He's a faceoff stud. This guy is easily obtainable and he's exactly the kind of center I want with Lafreniere. I'm sure an offer of Kravtsov, Chytil, Jones and a prospect like Hajek or Gettinger is going to be more than enough. His cap hit is 5.5. He's a UFA after next season. I let Strome go after this year and extend Horvat unless Strome wants to sign for 4.5. Otherwise, see ya. Horvat is the captain of the Canucks and will quickly become our captain. He's wasting his career at this point on that team.

I thought Chytil starting this year would average around 50 pts but i agree he doesn't fit well or do anything particularly well other than having a good size/speed combo. Kind of similar to Gauthier in that regard. He's at least a decent person to add to a package with a 1st or 2nd and prospect but like you said he's losing some value as time goes on if his point totals never get above 30-40. Another team would probably maximize him more as the Rangers do suck at F development.

You saw the massive incompetence of this organization again. Tinordi fucking sucks. He's a cone. The organization sucked off Lundkvist for years, turning down every trade offer. He has his first NHL point, then our coach doesn't play him the next two games and goes with Tinordi who is a below average minor league player. He plays Fox fucking 27 minutes. Guy will have nothing left by game 60. He plays Kakko about 12 minutes and Lafreniere 13 on a total shit line. Drury needs to stop being a pussy. Get Lafreniere a real center and get rid of Hunt and McKegg from the organization. Call up Barron. He needs to tell Gallant put fucking Kakko and Lafreniere on the first PP unit if he wants to keep his job.

I do agree on Drury though. I said it before the season, I think he failed this team big time. We clearly needed a C upgrade, and someone who can win a FO, everyone saw that clear as day, he didn't address it at all. They also needed a better LD added than Nemeth. All he focused on was adding grit and more grit.

And lastly you and I have been singing the same song on dealing of some kids/picks the past few years. We are absolutely wasting them and killing their value. We cannot play them all, we cannot pay them all, and they all won't pan out, yet we hold and hold and hold - for what (Kravtsov is a great example - Lundkvist may be as well). No big picture thinking and lack of a plan. That is incompetence we agree for sure.

Look at the top PP teams the past few years. Stamkov, Kucherov, Point. Bergeron, Pastrnak, Marchand. Ovechkin, Backstrom, Kuznetsov. McDavid, Draisaitl, Hopkins. You can't have fucking Strome and Kreider on the first damn PP unit. You have to totally commit trying to get Kakko and Lafreniere to an elite level offensively and they HAVE to be on the first PP unit if you hope to achieve that. If another dumb fuck coach doesn't do that, this team will never win shit.

I don't have a huge problem with CK on it since he's the only real netfront threat they have(when he actually does that), but i agree thar 2 top 5 picks should be getting time there. Agree on PP, but issue is at even strength too. Last night Kakko got 10:42 and Lafrenier 11:44 at even strength, which is less than Chytil and Blais and very close to what Goodrow and McKegg got. Being their 2nd and 3rd year in the league, respectively, they should be getting top minutes and building the team around them.

I didn't think it could get worse but now dumb fuck Gallant has put Lafreniere on the 4th line. So he has a screwup and you punish him. Zibanejad and Panarin have been useless as tits on a bull all season at even strength but you turn the other way. I'm giving it to February before one of Lafreniere or Kakko demands a trade. Soon, this will be a team that no young forward wants to go to. Andersson wanted out. Kravtsov is a lazy dickhead but he asked out. Barron sooner than later will ask out. I'm sure Kakko and Lafreniere eventually will do the same.

Flawed team, Pres/GM, in over his head IMO, failed them this summer. That is a big piece of this puzzle as well.

Look at the moves - added useless Tinordi, grit and toughness. Added Reaves, grit and toughness. Added Nemeth as the LD we needed, grit and toughness. Added Goodrow, grit and good add, but no doubt overpaid.

Where is the C we badly need? Where is the FO guy we badly need? Where is the LD upgrade we needed way better than Nemeth?

My take is simple, Drury/Sather/Dolan had a vision this team was missing toughness and grit and that was it and they were obsessed with it, and they added players who fit that mold (and then added more players who fit that mold), and did nothing else to improve the team. I thought it was an incorrect assessment then and was missing pieces, and I certainly feel that way now.
