I think it depended upon his comfort level with the people in which he conversed with. He was cool with me after learning some about my life.

Me too. Including some dm conversations with him.
And i was one of the many people who laid into him pretty hard at first.
Yes, his communication skills could improve, but cant all of ours?
He isnt a bad kid, can read emotional, but so do alot of people including myself at times.
He feels jaded because there have been times he has been picked apart and maybe not able to commmunicate his opinions clearly and they get twisted out of context.

What he sent sly was wrong and i told him so, but he truly beleives there are some out to go after anything he says and dissect it into him being a bad guy.

He needs to chill.

The forum needs to chill(myself included).

This country needs a big ass chill pill more than ever before.

But he isnt evil and i dont think deserves to be banned.
Did he threaten anyone?
Did he slander anyone?
Did he stalk anyone?


Those would be some things id be concerned about. A foul mouth and sharp attitude getting you banned just shows how thin skinned this forum is...and im not talking of the mods.

Nobody gives more rope to forum members than Sly.....Cippy had many chances to chill out...personally I don't think that's why he was here...and many of his insults were way over the top......Sly is a fuckin' zen monk when it comes to the ban hammer dude...I've requested a member be banned for over the top insults and bullshit a couple of times...he's still around and I don't care anymore....I really don't think this forum is as uptight as you seem to and it's definitely not micro managed..if you have an interest in the kid, he lives close to you...you can still relate to him outside this forum anytime I'm sure. What bothers me is that guys like Sly and others don't post here much anymore due to anger management and they made me laugh all the time....just glad barfo is still hanging in there

I will just say this: if you think our mods are biased or heavy handed, you haven't spent much time on the internet. There are sports sites out there where a single cuss word can get you banned. I quit Blazersedge after I had posts deleted even though the mod couldn't point to a single rule violation. In plain english, I was a newby challenging the opinion of a regular, so that made me a troublemaker.

Our mods aren't perfect - who is - but they try their best and mostly get it right.

I have praised the mods many, many, many times. Howevee i believe them to be wrong in how they handle the editing/deleting, but thats my opinion.
Im speaking more of the forum than the mods acting on thier behalf at this point.
I dunno. Ive never seriously thought of reporting anyone for anything. And i dont visit other sites. I barely have time to try to have some fun here. So that may very well be correct.
But thier standards kind of reaffirm how soft we ALL are getting.

What ever happened to sticks and stones?
Is his agressive manner soo disspleasing that it causes ulcers and complete displeasure? Why take him soooo serious as to ruin your fun?
There is an ignore button that can be used?

Anyhow. No point in going round. Agreeing to disagreeing and moving on.
I much prefer alerts from the blazers forum than this side. Lol

Every year we get blown out of the playoffs as a result of the same failing. I would like to see Blazer fans talk about it and acknowledge the basic fail.

Sly is really good at being calm, making people feel like their opinions are heard, calming situations down. Thats why he’s mans best friend.
