Nobody has mentioned Ramon Ramos.....

That's first thing I thought of (and was going to post it, saying he should be introduced to the story of him), but got sidetracked.

My memory is of a 300zx but it's been so long. This story is like the stories I hear of a young kid killing someone while driving drunk. Thousands of people have done it, the difference is the result. Trob can learn from this without prison or being brain damaged and that is good news.

Hard to believe it's been (almost) 24 years now.

I hope he does learn something from this instead of just talking like he does. He's not the only one who speeds (that fast), but he's public. He could make this a big learning experience for many people.

Everyone in section 107 at the Moda Center should get a fake ticket with TRob's autograph on it for opening night.

You. Are. Brilliant. Not sure how this got passed over thus far, well played sir.

Dumb kids doing dumb things. I've never gone that fast, but I've sped before. I imagine most of you have as well.

My bike can go pretty fast, and I know people who have pushed 150 on back roads. I've never done it because I think it's fucking retarded. When you go that fast, you can't react quick enough to something in the road. Now if he wants to go to the autobahn and push 100+, more power to him.

the good news is he wasn't drunk and didn't have any drugs on him.

Well if he wasn't drunk and he wasn't racing they guy has got to be dumber then a box of rock. It's probably no wonder why they guy has been on so many teams in so short time. I wouldn't be surprised if the guy is the next Zach Randolph. Monster numbers and dumb as fuck. Who takes high powered sports automobile out and does 107mhp on the fwy? People that just want to show off that's who. At least if the guy was racing he would have had some kind of excuse.

Yeah, who would try to see how fast they could go on the freeway with very little other traffic....

*smfh*..

project much?

Someone in a hurry?:dunno:

Go Blazers

How many Mormons were chasing him?

If you want to see how fast your car can go you can take it to the Portland International Raceway. The top speed for a 2013 Porsche Panamera is 160mph.

I considered myself to more mature than most guys my age for most of my life. Always had a steady job, avoiding most trouble, did what I was supposed to in school. But I wasn't mistake-free. I took my '97 Nissan Sentra to 115 on the I-5 and the 205. Just wanted to see if it could go that fast.

Exactly.... if there's nobody around, it's not really a threat to others, just yourself. Not saying it's smart, just saying it's understandable for a kid to do it.

It was a v6 engine?

Yeah, that's not where I'd do it. I must be dumb.

A friend of mine got a Dodge Viper up to 140mph over the Glenn Jackson bridge, let me drive on the way back and I only took it up to 120mph.

It's fun going that fast huh? I went 155 once on the freeway in my e63. The governor kicked in so I couldn't go faster. It's a rush watching cars going 80 zip by me.

Does anyone remember what speed Tyreke was going when he was busted?

I once going across 205 bridge going into WA broke my speedometer at 120 in a big Chrysler station wagon with a big built engine.

Gone down 84 quite a few times going 80-90 mph trying to get to a Blazers game on time.

thomas robinson ‏@Trobinson0 Apologies for that speeding ticket rip city gotta be more careful with watching the speed limit . . .
Hilarious. He just wasn't watching the speed limit, that was the problem!!

This happens to me all the time: I'm driving along, not paying any attention to the speed limit, and then before you know it, I'm going 107 mph!!!

Well it is surprisingly easy to do in a German engineered vechicle; BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, etc

Little harder to do that in a Dodge Caravan, Shooter.

65 Chevy V8 station wagon, one of the bigger cars ever mass produced. I wasn't on a freeway, so 107 was all I could do before the street entered town.
