-Am I the only one who noticed a significant improvement in Sean Williams tonight? He boxed out very well a few times, didn't take jump shots out of his range despite being open and as usual gave us some much needed energy.
-Ryan Anderson has convinced me that he's a legitimate NBA forward. His positioning is great, his shot is falling, he's been impressive in clutch situations, he's been this team's energizer more than a few times...I could go on and on. Great pick by Kiki and Thorn.
-Vince Carter continues to be one of the best players in the NBA this season.
-Devin Harris finally realized that driving to the basket is still what he should be doing most of the time. His finishing was rusty but as he drove more it has significantly improved. Not only is he going to the line a lot, opponents are also starting to give him more space in fear of a quick drive, resulting in better looks from deep.
-Even when he's not scoring, Brook Lopez is a force, and not only on defense. He's the best post passer I've seen on the Nets in a long time.
-Jarvis Hayes has been excellent off the bench. He has proven his ability to drive to the basket as well as his touch from the 3pt line. Too bad he got injured, let's just hope it's nothing major.
-Keyon Dooling showed another aspect of his game tonight: off the ball movement. Perfect backup for Harris.
-Only Simmons has been less than advertised so far this season. Let's hope he can get it together, because if not he should be on the bench next to Hassell and Ager.
-This team's 3pt shooting has been amazing the last few games. As I posted in a different thread, Carter, Dooling, Hayes, Anderson, Simmons, Yi and now even Devin Harris are all dangerous from deep and that's opening the lane for more drives to the basket and for more looks for the big men.
