I think we match up much better with the Thunder with Rudy back and Roy playing limited minutes.

But I don't feel that way with NO. We'll need big quality minutes from Roy to win that game.

Memphis - Doesn't really matter, if we play hard and smart we will win.

And we always play like shit in OKC. I think we should beat Memphis, but I have a bad feeling about NO. Monty knows our game.

What kind of sample size do we have to go from? We beat them 1 out of 2 times in OKC last year.

It's not just these three games.

Take a look at the three games afterwards as well:

vs. DEN
vs. UTA
vs. NOH (we have 5 days off before this one-- weird).

These next six games might be the toughest stretch of our year.

I am a bit tired, but my recollection is of 2 Blazer wins in OKC last year....

We go 3-0 on this trip. And we do it on the back of LaMarcus Aldridge.

Whatever happens I hope -- nay demand -- that everybody around here make sweeping generalizations about not only our playoff hopes for this year, but our hopes for the next 3 years, based on these games. I know I'm going to do my part.

Does that mean I should or shouldn't go downtown this weekend and start saving our spots for the championship parade?

Just to be safe I'd at least think about "hiring" one of the many vagrants to "reserve" a spot for you ... a bottle of night-train should do the trick.

Who are you referring to, Mixum? BGrantFan? Barfo?

And more importantly how do you know that they can be bought off for a bottle of night-train?

Basically, this next game is for the season. Then, the following two games are for the next two seasons, respectively. It's just that simple.

Loosing to OKC would be a black day for the Blazers.

In fact, it would be known as Black Friday the world over as the day that hope died.

Also, it will make baby Jesus cry.

I hope they win so the economy gets better.
