Canzano is a Timbers fan now.... there goes the neighborhood.

So I dont mean this to sound like a stupid question but rather an honest one, I just realized that since I will be in town for the April 1st Blazers game against the Wolves that the Timbers are playing in town the night before. I wouldnt say Im a soccer fan by any stretch of the imagination but the environment at these games sounds kind of fun. Would you say it would be worth if Im not a soccer fan?

It's definitely worth going even for the non soccer fan. Timbers games are way fun!

What kind of game thread is this? What happened? Who do we blame? Did either team win? ;)

I hate soccer, but I had a good time when I got free tickets from friends last year to go watch a "match."

I work there and as a person that hated soccer until I got hired there, I tell all my friends they need to come watch a game just for the atmosphere! I also have a ton of respect for the players as I didn't realize the the true athletes they are.

Thanks guys. I think you have talked me into it.
BB if you do indeed get tickets to the game on the 31st please come see me. I am the usher between section 111-112 right below the suites. My name is Donnie. I can maybe get you into better seats depending on where your tickets are located.

Nice, thanks again! :)

I just watched my recording of the game. I really wish I still lived in Portland so I could go to a game some time. The atmosphere is awesome. I still don't know if I can get into the MLS in general, but I may pick up Direct Kick just to catch all of the Timbers games.

It's definitely worth it. I bought a season ticket in the Club section this year and I'm definitely glad I did. I've never played soccer, but I do enjoy watching the games.
