I don't have a problem with Cunningham, I kind of liked his demeanor and his game so I don't fault Kahn for that. But holy balls, just how many Portland connections are there in that organization? Kahn, Adelman, Porter, Bayno, Love, Roy, Tolliver, the failed Batum attempt ...

Webster until they cut him, and Telfair not long before that.

I knew I was forgetting guys ... but honestly how can anybody be expected to remember them all without writing it down.

Story/ Sources: Wolves target Kirilenko w/ $9M a year offer, would trade Wes and 1st to make cap room http://bit.ly/NVt6Zv

WHUT. 9??? and traded away Wes Johnson who was a #4 pick and a future 1st? Trading away Wes J to clear space, ok I get it. But the 1st? I'm so glad we have Olshey.

It's beyond ridiculous. Minnesota, that is, not Nikolokolus for getting their Ridikulokulousness.

And they thought Portland was stupid for matching Batum's contract??

Crazy you have to give up a future first for someone to take on an expiring rookie contract for the #4 pick.

I feel sorry for Timberwolves fans. Honestly. This place would be on group suicide watch if Kahn were in charge here.

Will you feel sorry for them when they're better than us next season?

So Kahn is trading

Wes Johnson
Brad Miller
1 1st
2 2nd's

for

Brad Miller
1 2nd

My point is would you rather be paying Batum $11 mill a year or AK47 $9 mill a year?

@wojyahoonba: Minnesota is finalizing a two-year, $20 million contract with free agent forward Kirilenko, league sources tell Y! Sports.

They weren't better than we were THIS year. I don't find it exceedingly likely that they will improve much..

I guess AK-47 is plan C(SKA), huh?

Ed O.

AK seems like he could be a good 4, but with Derrick Williams and Love I don't see how that team fits to well. I don't know if AK has the quickness of his youth when he was a great SF. Seems like with the modern NBA that may not work too well.

All Kahn seems to want to do is acquire 1's and 4's.

If nothing else, I'm going to pay a lot of attention to the Wolves this year. It seems like it's either going to work surprisingly well or fail spectacularly ... and that's fun.
