...On road vacation/trips my Father refused to pull over...so my Brother and I had to piss in a Coke bottle.

Would your Dad pull over if you had to take a #2...? LOL...those were some crazy times.....but well worth it...!

I did something similar, but not to my kids, to myself, in downtown Dallas on the Freeway. Travelling from CA. to GA.

Didn't know I was Diabetic, (would find myself comatose 1 month later). Was drinking "Surge" by Mountain Dew.....MD super sugar & caffeine...got to where I couldn't drive 30 mins., without having to pull over. That got old, and making no time, I began to use a Gatorade Bottle.

Right in the midst of Dallas, sitting in touch n go traffic, with a State Trooper alongside me.....yep, I did....poured it out the door to right on the Freeway, those Troopers couldn't of poured me over if they wanted, for pissing on their State. To much traffic to do so.... :lol:

Girardi isn't perfect, but Beltran isn't his fault... CC isn't his fault... Pineda isn't his fault... Tex can't be gotten rid off.... just be thankful A-Rod is serving his lumps... Don't know who would do better with the current team... I think the bigger problem is all the people behind the scenes... including the brothers Grimm...

I agree Steve, I mean I bust Ron's balls about Girardi because IMO he makes some of the dumbest decisions I've ever seen but the lack of production from some of our over paid clowns & the injuries are not on him.

...of course if one of us really did have to go once we got on the road, he'd stop, but he'd grumble about it.

On the contrary my friend, no balls busted on this end. Sure it gets a tad frustrating when the sky is clearly blue but someone else sees it as purple but for the most part I'm just having fun.

...well, when you make blanket statements that are incorrect or are proven wrong, I'd call that busting your own balls...of course you change your tune afterwards...and then proceed to return to the same routine the next day.

I've NEVER strayed from the fact that your Uncle Joe is an idiot & makes some of the most assinine decisions that I've ever seen in my 50+ years of following this game. Sure there have been worse managers somewhere but Girardi has me scratching my head so many times I'm developing a bald spot.

Much of what I say (though truth IMO) is just to bust your chops because Girardi appears to have a soft spot in your heart. But hey, to keep the peace & not to offend any family members I'll try to curb my criticism of your boy. But I can't make any promises for Pasta. And again its wishful thinking on your part if you seriously believe that I'm busting my own balls. Like I said, I'm just having fun. But I'll try to be good. I hope we're still cool.
 
1. Joe is by no means "an idiot"...keep using that term, and I'll keep pointing to how inane it is.

2. You called Joe out just night before last for pitching to Napoli and insisted they should have walked him. (laughable) You also claimed at the time that it was something other managers do all the time...but you were unable to back that claim up with anything tangible. (busting your own balls)

3. Earlier in the week you called Joe out for allowing Nuno to pitch again on Friday and that the Yanx should just go ahead and "forfeit the game"....Nuno proceeded to bust your balls by pitching great and you somehow tried to pat yourself on the back by saying that you had "expected" it.

4. You also essentially did the same thing earlier by bashing Joe for allowing allowing Phelps to pitch...Phelps then also busted your balls.




...as far as me having a "soft spot" for Joe, you're wrong on that point too because I have mentioned SEVERAL times that while he may not be the best manager ever, he's certainly not the worst and certainly not an idiot. That's where you misconstrue what I'm saying. Just because I have an issue with you calling him and idiot and/or blindly bashing him day in and day out, does not by default equate to me "having a soft spot" for him...big difference.

Okay, This is obviously a very sensitive subject for you so I'll just say a few things here & hopefully move on from this............

1) yes you can keep pointing out to me how inane it is & I could continue to correct you. But I won't.

2) yes I called out Joe that he should have walked Napoli the other night as did a few other posters that you obviously over looked by not jumping on them. And in doing so it was explained WHY several times the logic of why WE thought he should have been walked. But you over looked that explanation also.

3) regarding Nuno I said at the start of the game thread, "I'm expecting good things from Nuno tonight" It was a WISH that he do well. And when he did I humorously responded with, "Looks like I expected good" as in MY WISH CAME TRUE. Why you read so much into that I have no idea.

Look, Girardi seems to be a very touchy subject for you, while you can't seem to find a single fault with the guy I think he's an idiot who makes WAY to many mistakes. Its called OPINIONS. you know like assholes, everybody has one but since you appear to take ANY attack against him personally. I'll try to curb my attacks as to not offend you.

As far as I'm concerned this subject is CLOSED! and again I hope we're still cool.

...didn't overlook anything or anybody...and it was "explained" to you by myself and messiah why no one but an idiot would do that...still waiting on your evidence that other managers "do this all the time"...find me even ONE instance of a team intentionally walking a batter in the 9th inning with 2 out and no one on base. For the second time, you won't...because you can't.

...no, Girardi is not a tender subject with me...again, the crux of the subject still escapes you. The tender subject for me is you constantly referring to him as "an idiot" (when clearly he's not)...and also you finding a way nearly every damned day to shoe horn nearly everything that happens to the Yanx into an indictment on Girardi.

the coach will be the first to tell you he is responsible for everything that goes on . and yes there is more too it then joe, this team should have been sold!
 
and and and ANDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!! any other coach would have walked napoli with his yankee killer track record, he is no threat to steal a base, 4? no doubt and he did! joe guessed horribly wrong!
 
...can you point to ONE instance when any manager has done that?...ever?
