This game should have a rule to conserve the total points at each position. You started with 30 points at center, 50 forward, and 70 guard. You should finish with that, or maybe 30 center, 60 forward, and 60 guard.

You currently have 39 center, 52 forward, and 59 guard. You have basically given Rudy's points to Oden. Centers are now disproportionate.

But centers are more important to a title run than any other position, so that makes sense. Besides, this is a vote away game till only one player is left (of course that's hypothetical since everyone will get tired of this thread before the end)



But, this is just a game to pass the time. So if you come up with a game I will play by whatever rules you come up with, as long as it keeps my attention.

Ah yes. So one position will ultimately emerge, asymmetric and disproportionate. You are right. As things are going, I predict the winner will be Oden, not Roy or Batum.
 
My objection would have held had the goal been to come up with a 5-man team.

I've tried suggesting rules in the past that would make this go more quickly and smoothly, but to no avail. What will happen is it'll come down to a few players with 50+ points each. Then the next month or so will be spent trying to slowly take one of those totals down to zero, but fans will vote them back to even again. Eventually everyone will get tired of it (more quickly so if the mods don't sticky this thread) and the game will stop unresolved.
 
I hate this game but couldn't resist the opportunity to kill off Bayless.
