On behalf of all of my many friends who all have won Time Man of the Year, namely anybody with a time magazine subscription, I'd like to thank the equally numerous amount of my friends who work for time magazine who put in the time and thought to make the correct choice for Time's Man of the Year: MeTime Man of the Year has always been a very prestigious honor, with its ranks including Hitler, Nixon, Bush (twice), and Bono. Despite a recent push by one of my main competitors, I am happy that the sight of Time's writers was not obscured by the blood in their eyes and the guns at their foreheads. They did not quiver when Kim Jong Il wrote six operas about why he deserved Man of the Year nor did they bend due to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's last minute "Time Magazine Review" conference, where seven of the eight attendees denied the existence of the greatest magazine on the face of the Earth.I'd like to thank my parents for the phenomenal child-rearing job that they have done for me. I'd like to thank the city of Albany for the cracker jack public school education they have given to me and, more importantly, the community support; you know what they say, it takes a village to raise a child. I'd like to thank Hitler.........(that was a joke from Kids in the Hall. Do not be offended. I'm Jewish. Really. Don't try to step to my crew. Because I will cap you. It'll hurt. Have you ever been filled with a clip of bullets from a '42? Didn't think so)However, despite my amazing media whoring abilities, My Casanova-like charm, my Groucho Marxist with, and my Oscar Wildesque use of the English language at press conferences, I truly believe that I am not the deserving recipient of the greatest democratic award capitalism has to offer. I have to defer this award and give it to my closest friend and joint Time 100 resident, Stephen Colbert.Colbert is an American Comedian who has won perhaps two of the three greatest (non-Time) awards out there: The Emmy and the Peabody. All he needs now is Man of the Year and the Cy Young award to be the greatest human being the world has ever known. And God knows he deserves it.On second thought, I realize that Time is always right. The people have spoken. I am Time's Man of the Year. Thank you everybody who I previously thanked (except Hitler) and goodnight.
