To the people who feel the need to constantly bash Dame

Then you disagree with the Blazer organization. They haven't given CJ the keys to the franchise like they have Dame.

I don't see people claiming that CJ was an all-star snub.

CJ was nowhere in sight in the MVP voting.

It's ridiculous to put them at the same level today, whether CJ has tried to do that himself or not.

LOL.

Without Dame, we need CJ, without CJ, we need Dame.

There's no clearer way to see it, and I am sorry you are blinded by obvious things. Maybe someday you'll get it.

Why are people so hyper sensitive about game threads? Creating new posts about it, stirring up drama.

Until they have more help I think it is laughable that either one is being criticized for shot selection. It's like Lebron in his first go-around in Cleveland. He got so fed up with all the criticism he decided to pass every time to make a point......then he left town. Thankfully Dame is more mature than LBJ.

Answer two questions...

Was CJ snubbed by not being an all-star?

Was Dame snubbed by not being an all-star?

Because you and I both know you go out of your way to spin people up. You enjoy it. And then when it looks like you're wrong you suddenly claim that your complaining was just some magical way to reverse jinx the team.

You're looking at it from an NBA stand point.

I'm looking at it from a TEAM standpoint.

Two COMPLETELY different ways to look at it.

We NEEDED CJ this year. No ifs and or butts.

But, now that I've made my point clear.

1. No.

2. Yes.

But, again, my point still stands. We're talking about our TEAM, not how the LEAGUE thinks of us. Two VASTLY different viewpoints.

And with that, I know my viewpoint is the more realistic one.

It's almost like people are trying to be negative for the sake of being negative. Quit posting threads criticizing people who criticize Dame. Stop being so negative about people being negative. Wait? What?

Every. Time.

Once? Okay, it's funny. But it's EVERY TIME.

Game threads are knee-jerk in nature... but some may not have any knee cartilage left...

You already admit that you hold them to different levels...one is an all-star and one isn't, in your opinion.

I answered your question because I knew if I didn't you'd focus on that.

Did you miss the rest of my post? Because it's obvious you did, when I explained why. It's probably because you knew you were wrong. So thanks.

From a TEAM standpoint THIS YEAR CJ is just as important as Dame. There's no question about that. If you want to strawman it out, you're welcome to. You're wrong, but you're welcome to.

Before Wes Matthews got injured I would say he was one of the most complete shooting guards in the league in terms of effort, defense, toughness, and scoring. In all star voting it's only the scoring that matters. Matthews never even sniffed the all star team but I would put his overall value to a team higher than Harden's.

Just because CJ didn't get mentioned for the all star team doesn't mean he's not hugely important to the Blazers.

Logic. All star selections don't tell the importance to a team.

Dude...take some deep breaths and get ahold of yourself

If you want to hold Dame and CJ to the same expectations, go for it. It's completely wrong and illogical considering you already admit you think they're at different levels. But you'd rather get riled up and defensive for no reason.

This is a comparison between CJ this year and Dame last year. This explains why I'm not worried about either player.

For those who dislike Dame and CJ or either individually, you better strap in and just get used to it, because these two aren't going anywhere any time soon. CJ's trajectory is encouraging, and Dame somehow continues to raise his ceiling every year.

Nobody is claiming he's not hugely important to the blazers. Sweet strawman though.

LOL.

I explained myself. You didn't see it.

All stars dont equate to different measurments when the ONLY two that even deserved to be criticized ARE dame and CJ.

I brought logic. I'm sorry you don't see it. I already know where I stand.

I asked you specifically. You admitted that you yourself think they're at different levels.

No I didn't.

Read my post. Respond to all of it. Because I laid out exactly how I looked at it.

I'm sorry it doesn't allow you to be right and nullifies everything you say about me, but look at it.

You won't do it, I know. You never have.

With all this talk of Dame and CJ, why do people so rarely mention their defense? Wondering if we can ever be a good defensive team with them is pretty much my only concern with them going forward. Do you guys just think all we need is a shot blocking center and their defense won't matter or something?

You're struggling. Take some deep breaths and go back to your work. It breaks my heart to see people flounder so badly.

I know. I see it with every post you make.

And thanks for validating my point. I knew you'd avoid it.

I'm right. You may move along now.
