To those who say Sharpe hasn't improved

He has to make them to drag the defense out though. Id rather see him in the paint where he can optimize his natural advantages.
Problem is his defender is also in the paint which plugs drives and cuts. Also he has no offensive game so him being in best position for him to succeed offensively doesn’t benefit the guys we actually need to score. He’s going to just get better at shooting 3’s and we have to live with poor percentages till his shooting improves. His 3’s don’t look bad and he has good form I think he’ll improve over time just going to be painful till he does

I think Shaedon’s just doing what the coaches tell him. If he’s shooting too many 3’s the ire shound be directed at the coaching staff.

My comment holds true. He settling for too many threes in the coaches need to rein that shit in. And yes it's soft.

A lot of what we're displaying right now

IS SOFT...

If his shot selection improved so would his percentage. This is all I'm saying. He's not as good of a three point shooter to be taking that many step backs. He's forcing a lot.
Definitely no need for the step back. If they're leaving him open he should be able to get it off. If not he should be able to get to the rim.

I think the main issue is that unless it's a straight line drive to the Hoop, he doesn't have much of a ball handling bag to get around his defender. Because of that , he settles for step back jumpers instead of just moving the ball. He needs a jab step in the worst way.

he's not Brandon Roy but he can use his left hand a bit on dribble-drives and the gather. (that's a good thing. It's something that Scoot can't do...or at least shown he can do). He also has some skill at changes of direction and speed, but not nearly enough to be a viable 1st option on a good team. But he has shown recent signs of improvement this season after a really ragged start when he was missing shots all over the floor, including shots he has made at a high rate. But three's aren't shots he has ever made at a high rate

I think Shae can get an elbow jumper off anytime he wants using his leaping ability, making them at a high rate? I say he does improve his mid range rate more as he accepts his role to score consistently.

I don't know man. His ball handling is under developed in my opinion. He doesn't get by people unless it's a straight line drive off of a close out. He doesn't have a go to move. He doesn't really have a crossover dribble. :dunno:

Cant get the media to play for some reason.
I can see the post but when i hit the play button nothing happens and then after a moment the play button reappears.
@Russ likely user error, but taggin ya in just in case. :)

Interesting! I've tried a few browsers and they all seem to work. What device/browser are you using?

In my observation, it doesn't look like he's had any significant jump in his defensive capability. Take that FWIW.
:dunno:
