They havent won anything yet. Took most of a decade to even get to a playoff team. If we were “in it” I think people would HATE it. I get the appeal (for whatever thats worth), but Im less and less inclined to think the process actually works.

That's a pretty big haul for the Clippers. They probably didn't want to pay him anywhere close to a max contract and weren't going to make the playoffs anyway.

Tobias is fine and a solid fit offensively, but feel like he's going to get overpaid. His impact has never matched the production.

It's partly why he's been traded so many times.

I agree on paper they look good. Just think the whole tank for a decade and hope you eventually hit on players is an understandable strategy but Im not sold its the best one.

Philadelphia acquires Tobias Harris, Boban Marjanovic, and Mike Scott while Los Angeles adds Shamet, Wilson Chandler, Mike Muscala, Philadelphia’s own 2020 first-rounder, Miami’s unprotected 2021 first-rounder, and a pair of future second-rounders. Harris is a better defender than CJ as well. Now, he may get overpaid, but if he gets less than 28M/year, he'll be making less than CJ

It was more "bad" luck that was really phenomenally "good" luck, than "process". But we've been over that before.
