Politics Today is National March for Trump day!

Welcome to our community

Be a part of something great, join today!

Wednesday will be International Women's Day rallies. They are not explicitly anti-Trump but when the president openly declares his intention to roll back women's rights and boasts of sexually assaulting women, he will hardly be ignored.

I'm not a betting woman but I'd still wager they draw more people.

I'm all about the memes this morning.
Sadly that meme is self-defeating. I'm not even going to get into the fact that Feminists don't say that, but it just (unsurprisingly) shows that the maker doesn't get the point. The point is YOU JUDGING. People can do whatever they want.

Also: how revealing is it that the meme maker can't even use a correct anatomical term?

What the hell are you talking about? This ENTIRE THREAD is one giant pile of judgement.

Not quite equally - you dislike yourself most of all, judging from some of your posts.

Rasta, you make a new thread about Trump every goddamn day, and the best arguments you have against Trump are tweets.

What does that say about you? I could make a very convincing argument of just how miserable you are with your obsession about a man whom you never gave a shit about before he ran for president.

Your obsession with Trump is downright creepy. And now you're accusing me of disliking myself?

Get over yourself.

I am prepared to be surprised, but I don't anticipate being.

Why should I give a shit about a failed mogul/shitty reality TV star unless he has the nuclear codes?

"You never gave a shit about Hitler when he was a failed painter!" Yeah - so?

And actually, it's not Trump that's the problem. He's just a sad fat racist old fuck who's rapidly descending into dementia. It's the crazy fuckers who actually think it's good that someone so patently unqualified even to be driving a car is the most powerful man in the world. To paraphrase John Fugelsang: "America is a motel bed and Donald Trump is a black light"

You REALLY ARE terrified of Trump...aren't you?

Donald Fucking Trump....that is the man you're terrified of, huh?

The "Nuclear Codes"? Is that the best justification you have to be terrified of him? Are you fucking serious?

You do realize that simply having the nuclear codes is not some guarantee of using them, right? Of all the fucking presidents we've had since WWII, you think TRUMP is suddenly the guy who's going to use them?

And parallels to Hitler?

Jesus Christ. You are beyond ALL reason.

I didn't like Hilary. But like fuck if I would be this fucking paranoid of her if she made it to the white house.

I can only speak for myself but I can say that, while not "terrified" of Trump, he does honestly scare me. I do not believe he is anywhere near mentally or emotionally stable. And before I am falsely accused of buying into the left wing, "fake news" of the MSM, I form my opinions on actual (and unretouched) news clips of Donny in all his self inflicted "glory", on his actual words via White House press releases, his stances on most everything and from his inexhaustible supply of Twitter vomit. In other words, Donny has formed my opinion for me all by his lonesome. No one will ever convince me the guy is mentally or emotionally stable enough to be president of this country. And I believe the Republican hierarchy has pretty much reached the same conclusion. The difference is, Donny is just sane enough to know they have his scrotum in their hands and if he wants to keep playing king, he has to play nice with them. So the majority of the Republican agenda is likely to get shoved down the throats of the 2/3's of Americans who did not vote for Donny. THAT terrifies me......along with the fact that some people still defend and make excuses for the guy despite the mounting (and irrefutable) evidence) that he is way in over his head and the laws that apply to everyone else apparently don't apply to him.

Verbally abuse me all you want for my opinion. I'm just telling you how this American feels and why. All the shouting and snark in the world aren't going to change how I feel.

I stand (actually sit) corrected. Jade Falcon does not say nasty things about feminists. Jade Falcon copies and pastes nasty things about feminists. Lack of creativity.

That's a reasoned answer, but I still challenge you on where you're getting even half of your accusations.

"Actual news clips"? You do realize that the ENTIRE MSM is against this guy, and has been from the start. Right? So how certain are you that these aren't cherry-picked articles and sound-bites from biased sources? I mean, let's face it.....the Washington Post and the Huffington Post can hardly be considered "unbiased" and rational. The same with Breitbart.

I don't have a problem with you having an opinion, especially if you are able to explain it reasonably and by using logic and common-sense. But I challenge how and where you're getting the information to form your opinion with, and what the information is.

LMAO. You think posting a meme showing feminist hypocripsy is being "nasty"?

Ha....why don't you ask me what I REALLY think of feminists.

Actually...you'd be surprised to know that I don't think much of them. Just that most of them are batshit crazy; nothing more.

Oh, and bigoted. But I suppose every group of activists are to some extent.

Hell, even Emma Watson was called out for being a hypocrite recently for a Vanity Fair shoot, in which she showed some boob. Now, do I think she's a hypocrite? To an extent; however, above all else I understand her point of view, but I also believe she could have explained her definition and her views on feminism far better when she started her feminist movement.

I think I've made it pretty clear about the sources of where I get the information to form my opinions. But when I refer to "news clips", please pick a network. Any network. I can watch a clip of Trump on ABC, change the channel to NBC and/or CBS (or even Fox!) within minutes and see the exact same clip with Donny spewing the exact same garbage. Please don't tell me that all four of those networks got together to cobble up false news clips with Trump in them, then passed them amongst themselves???!!!???? Or that they bought fake news from CNN or any other news outlet and broadcast it as truth. The national media can be pretty screwy sometimes, but they aren't THAT screwy. The only other answer is that what I've based my opinions on is the truth......or at least largely grounded in the truth. I only had to watch the debates to have my longstanding distaste for the guy justified. For whatever it is worth, I have loathed Trump for decades, ever since I became aware of him. I have always found him and his ego to be a very large part of why this country has gone to hell. To think that this particular sociopath will "make America great again" is utterly ludicrous. I know the difference between rain and someone pissing on my leg.......

What "garbage"? His rants on Twitter? Trust me, I've argued with people on the Right about what I think of his use of Twitter, and it's not pretty.

No, I don't think that. However, I also know that they are perfectly capable and willing to cut sound-bites and cherry-pick what he says but, most importantly, make biased ASSUMPTIONS about what he MEANS, rather than what he actually SAYS. They do this ALL the fucking time, and even you have to agree with that.

I only had to watch the debates to have my longstanding distaste for the guy justified

The Debates? Seriously? Do you have any idea how much sheer bullshit is spewed by both sides during the Debates? Hell, entire campaigns are built on total bullshit.

Start looking at what he's doing for businesses in this country, and what he's doing going forward...instead of what he said during a debate last year.

For whatever it is worth, I have loathed Trump for decades, ever since I became aware of him.

To be honest, even though I voted for him, I'm only about 60% supportive of him. Because I'm actually willing to give him a nonjudgmental chance to show us what he can do this year, BEFORE I make a decision about him.

I have always found him and his ego to be a very large part of why this country has gone to hell.

This country went to hell because Obama pandered to elitists and celebrities, and the Democrats enabled the whiny, entitled "Snowflake" culture, instead of listening to We The People. Just my opinion.

To think that this particular sociopath will "make America great again" is utterly ludicrous.

Not even three months into his 4 year tenure, and you're utterly convinced of this, huh? Whatever. I'm willing to give him a year to show us what he's got, before I make up my mind about him.

I know the difference between rain and someone pissing on my leg

Stop pissing on your leg. ;)

Hmm. What Trump apologists usually say is the opposite. That we aren't supposed to take what he SAYS literally, but we are supposed to take it "seriously".

So I guess if you put the two together, the advice is to just not pay any attention to him at all?

Wrong. They say that you aren't supposed to make ASSUMPTIONS about what he means. Especially if all you have is a 2 minute youtube clip from a 56 minute speech (example).

Why don't you actually go TALK to one of those "apologists", and then get back to me. Instead of making more assumptions about what everyone thinks of them and what they believe.

Christ. If the Liberal Left didn't assume so much with so much arrogance, they would have won this election in a landslide. Arrogance is indeed their downfall.

Wrong. They say that you aren't supposed to make ASSUMPTIONS about what he means.

What is the point of listening to him if you don't try to understand what he means? You just like the sound of his voice?

It's easy. All you have to do is listen to ALL that he has to say, without cherry-picking and without making assumptions of the meaning of his words by using dumbass logic like "I don't like him", or "he has his hand on the nuclear button", or something equally stupid.

It's fine if you don't like the guy. But at least listen to him with your own ears, and keep an open mind.

I've listened to him talk a lot. Many hours worth. The best hours. Believe me.

And he says a lot of really stupid stuff. He doesn't know much of anything about most subjects, and doesn't care to learn. He's paranoid and delusional. And inarticulate.

But he does have all the best words.

Just not that many different ones.

Some people are confused about how Christians could be fans of Trump, given that he goes against pretty much everything Christ says, and is also a twice-divorced child-ogling serial groper, but I think I've cracked it.
1. Christians have been taught their whole lives that their God is a petty narcissist who demands worship or he'll punish you. You must be devoted to him, and despite the fact that he is hugely powerful, you can also let him down, and his supporters have to stick up for him in the face of the filthy unbelievers.
2. Christ speaks only in parables that you can interpret any way you choose. And if your interpretation goes contrary to somebody else's, that's fine, you're both right, so long as you remember that Christ is the living God. Your interpretation is "true for you". Those who take it as bad, are simply bad themselves. The Bible can't be contradictory, so all those people pointing out what they claim to be patent contradictions are lying and evil and ganging up on good Christians.

Sound familiar?

Seriously. Here is my take. Trump his entire life has been surrounded by people whose livelihoods depended on giving him everything he wants. And telling him he can take (like grabbing women). Throw in he's a bully and no one apparently ever tried to control the bullying. So, he runs for president and taps into a vein of discontent with people who feel like the country is getting away from them. He is a showman and learned that the more vicious, vulgar, offensive, insulting he got, the better they liked him because he provided an "enemy", the one to blame for everything wrong, as well as a "savoir", himself - "Only I can save you". I think he may have figured the presidency was like Aladdin's magic lamp. Rub the lamp, replace the Affordable Care Act with "something wonderful". I hear and obey, Master. Rub the lamp, "defeat ISIS". I hear and obey, Master.

Only governing is not like that. He really had no clue how to govern. So the only actual agenda is that of the hard line right (pollution, no rights for gays, no birth control, no health care, no Medicare, etc.) and that is not popular. His executive orders are characterized by increasing viciousness and cruelty. And that is not popular. How can this be? Everyone is supposed to love him, he is the best. So he has to insist, contrary to fact, he got the biggest electoral victory, he lost the popular vote due to millions of illegal voters, his inauguration crowd was the biggest, etc. When millions protest, they must be organized and paid by George Soros and bused around the country. When pro-Trump rallies are tiny, because it's a cult, not a movement, when he continues to get more unpopular, it is never his fault. He is never responsible. It must be because Obama is still pulling strings behind the scene.

He is the best, the smartest, the greatest, and anything or anyone that says other is fake news and a conspiracy against him. Truman famously said the buck stops here, meaning himself as president, for Trump the buck always has and always will stop elsewhere. The generals. The intelligence service. The media. George Soros. Obama. Someone else will always be responsible for his failures and he is failing spectacularly.
