Tonight is a lesson for those who don't believe

How about just letting them make you really happy?

What can I say? Right now, this team makes me feel like a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. Every time I let myself start to feel a little hopeful, they do something to snatch it away. Even tonight, I can't shut off the part of my brain that wants to know where this Blazer team was against the Lakers/Hawks/Rockets.

I know......I'm a weirdo. Tell me about it.

I was one of the few who didn't want to blow it up. I love how that is forgotten.

Like an undigested kernel of corn inside a freshly pinched loaf. On its own it might be of value, but given its surroundings, it still stinks.

I'm a dick. When will I learn never to underestimate this team?

I'm thrilled to have been so wrong!

The last two games prove (once again) that you can't live game-to-game as fans. A week ago, after a second straight lopsided loss at home, most people felt the 'Zers were circling the drain. A couple of ugly wins vs two bad teams after that (Sac/Char) didn't do much to bolster our confidence about this 4 game roady.

Like everybody else, I'm excited about the win Orlando/Miami wins. That just doesn't happen very often. But if they somehow come up short against Atlanta and Charlotte (who will be more healthy with Jackson & Thomas) then I promise not to jump off a bridge. The season won't be "over". Most of us would have been thrilled with a 2-2 trip when it started. Now? People would call it a collapse. I still think the "adjustment period" to our recently stocked roster isn't 100% complete - expect a few more inconsistent efforts along the way.

If we can stay healthy and on the same page, this team has a chance to be pretty good in April. That's what I'm looking forward to. Didn't think I'd be saying that a month ago.

I'll be disappointed if we don't at least get 3-1 off this road trip. I am one that would have been happy with a 2-2 record, but after winning the first two against the teams we've beat we should win at least 3 on this road trip. If not it really takes away from the Heat win. It'll be another getting up for the tough teams and not for a bad team.

I have said it before and I will say it again. Every team wins games they "shouldn't" win and loses games they "shouldn't" lose. If they didn't, then why would they bother to play the season, and we wouldn't bother watching.
