Tony Parker Asked Batum About Blazers

Could be a non-story, but I thought it was worth mentioning. During his interview on 95.5, Batum actually brought up the fact that he talked to Parker (just general talk), and that Parker inquired about the city, and the Blazers.

I was stunned when I heard that segment this evening and from the way Nic made it sound, it definitely wasn't just casual talk. Batum said that Parker called him up and specifically asked about the city and the organization because he was hearing possible rumors of him being traded to Portland.

TP isn't any great outside shooter, but the guy has a ton of finals experience, he's a proven winner he can run the point, he can play off the ball and he would be an upgrade over Miller. If we don't have to sell the farm to get him (Miller, Rudy/Bayless, and filler) then I like the deal quite a bit.
