It is kind of depression that the way the Nets have been playing they havent been able to jump into that 8th spot. But I still think Cleveland is going to drop out opening the opportunity for us...the Nets have to just take of business, they have to pretty much win out inorder to have a legimate shot. It would be nice if Philly could hit a wall and the Nets jump past Cleveland and Philly into the 7th seed, sot hey dont have to play Shaq in the first round but thats unrealistic. But I still have faith we will get that 8th spot.

I also like the Nets down the stretch to grab the 8th spot over Cleveland. The Nets have the experience edge and are playing more consistent to finish off the season. They just look hungrier than the Cavs, and once they get to the playoffs and get Richard Jefferson back, they could easily upset a 1 or 2 seed.

the nets did start playin like a playoff team but if they had started sooner,they would have a bigger chance. due to all the injuries u cant really expect better. if not this year hopefully next.

I know that a coach of a below .500 team cant get legitimate consideration for Coach of the year. But if you consider the fact that Kidd missed the first month & Half almost of the season, RJ missing close to 3/4 of the year, and various other guys going down during the year Rodney, Zoran, T. Best, Scali and most recently Jacque for the rest of the season, you have to tip your cap to the job Coach franks has done with the rotation of the starting lineup & bench over this year. He has found the way to get different things from different people at different times lol.

He put guys like Jabari Smith & Billy Thomas in position to be successful when our lineup was limited, I remember from like Jaunary to febuary we were only suiting up 7 to 8 guys per night. He found away to surround Kidd & VC with a decent compliment of veteran scrappy guys like T.Best, Jacque, Cliffy etc. Alot of people didnt give him credit last year when the Nets went on the 13 game win streak to capture the Atlantic Division again, everyone pretty much said it was just a hold over result of the B. Scott era. But all coaching credit in my opinion for continuing to put a competive team on the court no matter the circumstance this year, goes to Coach Frank.
