Every starting Blazer is a top 10 player at his position. I believe we are the only team in the NBA that can say that. Discuss.

Well if that's the case we should get out of the first round easy.

Batum, Matthews, Aldridge, Lillard and Aldridge is the best starting 5 in the nba. If we can get decent production from t rob, mo, freeland and Barton; we will be a formidable 10 rotation.

All works well when the playoffs start, since rotations get tighter

Will Barton is the new Joel Freeland.

Did you forget Wright? He will get some run.

Rotation should look like this come playoff time:

Lillard (32) / Mo (16)
Wes (25) / Barton (15) / Mo (4) / Lillard (4)
Batum (35) / Wes (7) / Wright (6)
LA (38) / T-Rob (10)
Lopez (30) / Freeland (10) / T-Rob (8)

I think an 8 man rotation for the playoffs would be better.

Top 10 is nice. Top 3 wins championships.

It pretty much is. Wright and Freeland will mostly be used for rest minutes.

More like for foul trouble (Wright), but I do agree that more than 8 players will be in the rotation at some point during the Houston series.

If Freeland doesn't come back, then Robinson becomes a 16-20 minute player in the rotation, depending on match-ups. Meyers Leonard may also see some action if Howard is struggling.

defense, a backup PF or C who scores 10 ppg and plays defense, will be the difference between this team making the playoffs and winning series.

Top 3 at all five positions? No one has that. We're better balanced. The team that beat Memphis and Chicago can win a title.

Also, Durant is considered number 1 but he ain't winning a championship.

That seems like a really good way to get Howard going. He could probably school Meyers with one healthy leg.

Top 10 PER? WS/48? Top 10 in what stat?

Top 10 if they played to their potential instead of cruising as they do. But even with that--not Matthews, and I doubt Lopez, would make the list.

He would school Leonard with two broken legs, blindness and a dislocated arm.

Lopez leads the league in ORtg so there is that.

He also leads the entire NBA in 4th quarter blocks and is an 82% FT shooter who is a smart player who makes his teammates better. He's easily a top 10 center and arguably top 6 - 8 when you consider total impact and not just individual stats. There just aren't that many great centers in the league these days. We're lucky. We got one who is relatively young and extremely cheap for a starting center that isn't on a rookie contract.
