Rangers only game this week.
2 PTs would be the order of the day.

Buchnevich would instantly be the most dynamic player on the team, it's a shame he decided to stay. Instead we'll watch this group of overthinking stiffs.

What a waste of a nice Friday night. One of the worst games of the season. Maybe, they will play better in the third.

They have got to have one the worst PPs in the league.

Does this team practice on improving their PP?
It sure doesn't show! Their results suck.

Thank God for Little Mighty Man........Mats Zuccarello!
Hat Trick! ..........just in time for Halloween. lol

you guys should be watching the Mets!

If they play this way against the Capitals on Tuesday,
they will not win. But it's still early in the season........
always areas to improve.

Starting to love Zucc more each game while Kreider continues to demonstrate he will never be the player we had hoped. Team has a great record to start but it's pretty obvious with Kreider having his head up his ass, yet again, this team needs a goal scorer. At this point, I'd be willing to drop Kreider to the third line, Fast to the 4th and try Etem on the second line. I'm not even impressed with Etem but he can't be any more lazy and inconsistent than Kreider is. If he sucks, then maybe you package him and a couple of prospects and see if you can get a goal scorer in here. Etem and Kreider have something in common. They both are dumb and don't know how talented they are.

Kreider is a very one dimensional player... straight ahead speed and a shot when effective. For whatever reason, he hardly ever uses his size around the net and just plays around the perimeter. He cannot buy time and space at all b/c he only knows one-way...straight ahead. His periods of disappearing just show that. Combined with the fact that he needs a top flight C to always look for him, he has looked lost with Stepan's personal issues. Outside his playing with emotion in a few playoff games, Kreider has continued to show that in no way is he a top six forward and frankly may be one of the dumbest guys out there.

Easssyyy !!! Maybe the word "issues" has too much a negative connotation...he has had complications in his jaw from the surgery after Prust hit. That's been spoken about as well as another undisclosed injury he's dealing with. He also just had his first child ! He has missed a few practices as well. It's obvious that he is not himself and appears frustrated to say the least.

Every player has crap off the ice like the rest of it. Tough shit. He gets paid 6+ million a year. He needs to earn his money like everybody. No excuses.

It is pretty obvious at this point, Kreider is no more than 45 to 50 points player. A good playoff guy and thats pretty much it. I wont expect much more than that from him anymore.

Kreider is just another 3rd line player Sather has accumulated. Only legit top 6 are Zuc,Nash,Brass, and Stepan. Not much depth again. No doubt biggest concern team will have is scoring and how much coach will rely on 3 old broken down d-men.

And once again here is where I remind everyone the Rangers are in 1st place and have the 2nd most points in the NHL.

In this thread you have oh if we only had Buch. Waste of a Friday night. Ugly win. Stepan has issues. Kreider has issues. Tired of Staal. Awful PP.

Funny stuff really. This board is now negative post after negative post. Good stuff.

Sorry but i am tired of staal...he has become one vastly overpaid and overrated player on this team. He has no physical game amymore and is weak on the puck.

We got lucky they over turned the goal Toronto scored.

Not just the people on here....the coach came out and uncharacteristically said some of his players need to take a serious look at themselves.

Not perfect. Some players need to pick it up...NO DOUBT...I would also agree that the team hasn't hit its stride yet...but it is negative post after negative post. What we do in here...all good.

I just wonder what it would be like in here if the team was actually bad...LOL.

I am not a huge Staal guy either. Once we added Yandle it made resigning Staal a bad move, but we are where we are. To me he is a solid 2nd pair guy, and has been for a while now.

Not worried about our D overall though. I am more concerned about our O. I have to assume CK and Nash will start scoring goals at some point.

The team has only lost 2 games. Thank Hank. He's in playoff form. Starting to feel for the first time that they will low ball Kreider next season, sign Yandle and then look to move Staal after next year. Pretty obvious that Skjei can fill Staal's role down the line. Never thought they would sign Yandle but they probably can do it now since it looks like Kreider will have a crap year. Kreider might not even sign long term if his year sucks. He might just do a one year deal looking to cash in off a big year next year.

Always be concerned about team's O......especially on the PP.

10th in the NHL offensively, tied for first in goals allowed per game. PP is 22nd (nothing new there) and the PK is 7th. I agree with you Chuck the negativity is deafening, tied for first early in the season but you'd think the Rangers were Columbus.

Man Id hate to see this place if we had to watch a team that was actually bad.

Out of control, but what can you do. Just smile and read the posts...:).

Dump I agree, we need to hang on to Yandle and find a way to get rid of Staal. I really like Staal but he just isn't the same player. Sather really dropped the ball signing Staal to that extension before pulling the trigger on Yandle. Sather said Yandle was a target for awhile, shame he couldn't put that together first. We could have then let Staal walk. Now we have to get him to drop his NTC, and I'm not sure I see him doing that unless it's to get all the Staal's together.

A lot of time for this team to get better. I'm not worried about them losing a puck battle in October. They know what it takes.

I do find it funny reading the post happening during the games...it does seem like the Rangers are getting smoked most nights. I don't know that anyone on here thinks the Rangers are bad...more so just airing grievances on some of the players that have had slow starts that we were all expecting more from. Personally, I'm stoked about them this year...the fact that they have won 7 of 11 games with some key players basically being invisible on the ice and score sheet gives me confidence they can be a top team again this year.
It's a brutally long regular season, there will be peaks and valleys (or strikes and gutters as one dude might say). If they can manage to get everyone clicking at the same time come April/May they are going to be a tough team to face in a 7-game series. I just realized they have 70 more games to play AFTER Tuesday night....guhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

The Staal deal was a coin flip when they resigned him. Once they dealt for Yandle that became a bad move. If you go L/R on D that means Yandle or Staal are 3rd pair guys...which makes no sense for the amount of money they will be paid.

Going to be very interesting to see if we can deal Staal after the season AND if he will accept a trade anyway.

They are not perfect Grey...shocking to some in here...:).

Buch-nevich, Buch-nevich(whole board repeats with Chuck leading :) ) It would a big bonus if he comes over in April.
